Two unpopular teenagers, Gary and Wyatt, fail at all attempts to be accepted by their peers. Thier desperation to be liked leads them to "create" a woman via their computer. Their living and breathing creation is a gorgeous woman, Lisa, who's purpose is to boost their confidence level by putting them into situations which require Gary and Wyatt to act like men. On their road to become accepted they encounter many hilarious obstacles which gives the movie an overall sense of silliness.

Ah yes i forgot people work full time lol i work from home but have to be a full time mummy at the same time which i dont mind,my eldest starts school sept so get a few more hours in the day to get things done

Our plan is

Blue bridesmaid dress
Bouquets- blue, cream and possibly yellow
Suits- blue cravats or whatever they're called
Button holes and corsages- yellow or cream
Centrepieces- blue and green vases with one blue delphinum (sp? ) and 1 sunflower
Top table flowers- blues, creams, and yellows.

It works in my head, and we've done a trial of the centrepieces which looked fab. The main colour will be blue, with green to just compliment it (mainly because my OH didn't want yellow and blue as these are the colours of our footie team and he thought some family members would disapprove!!!), and the yellow and cream can lighten it up a bit as our venue is quite dark- dark wooden tables and wooden pannelled walls etc.

Fingers crossed it will work

My dress is by Ian Stuart. It is a one off, so sadly I have no link to show you, but it's kinda cool to know nobody will have the same dress as me! I never thought I'd be able to afford an Ian Stuart dress, so I snapped it up when I found an unworn one on preloved!

That all sounds so amazing! I think we are still hanging on to teh apples and pears idea. its a good one for us as it can be read on the two levels.. i.e. tying in with the venue and also our lovely body shapes :rotfl:It does seem to have morphed a bit into green and white, but thats fine I guess the apples and pears only need to be touches here and there Otherwise it all could look rather starnge. My mother doesn't get it at all.

You suddenly seem so organised... I am so impressed as to what you have received since deciding on the colour scheme!! go off and hang my head in shame. My organisation has somewhat ground to a halt over the last few weeks.

having said that I did drag the other half off to discuss wedding rings at the jewllers where we bought my engagement ring. Am now waiting for them to ring with estimates. have a feeling they are going to be expensive. But its so exciting.

just need to get my finger out and make a start on everything else. Thing I feel a girlie night with my bridesmaids and suppose I ought to invite my mum to progress ideas.

Oh by the way, I am yet another 25th August bride. We did know it was a Bank Hol when we booked as we took inspiration from my SIL2B who got married on the August Bank hols last year. Its just nice to have that extra day. :j

We are getting our wedding rings on the cheap. He is having a titanium one, so that he doesnt damage it and I am having mine from Argos with my Nectar points!!

Yay another date twin, or does that make us triplets???? lol

I'm only having 1 bridesmaid (my daughter) and its impossible to have a girly night with her, so I am having 3 honorary bridesmaids who I can do it with instead!!

Hi ladies

Hope everyone ok. Am feeling a bit sorry for myself as have a cold, but stuck at work.:( One good thing is that I don't feel like eating anything other than soup, the bad side of that is I need to go out and buy some.

Frustrated now as still waiting for prices on our rings!! Though the poor bloke has to work out about 3 quotes for OH and 2 for me!!

But on a positive note I think we have found the band we want, just now need to check they are still available for our date.

When I gather the energy to walk to the supermarket I was thinking chicken soup might be the way forward... although its likely to be out of a can so might work as well. Still its comfort food.

I've got a stinking cold as well I don't usually get them but I've been feeling really run down lately, so I'm not surprised.

Sadly it is making me starving! Have got a cup a soup and some pittas as we'd run out of bread at the mo but know I will still be hungry afterwards

Great news about the band . I hope the ring man hurries up and gives you the quotes soon, don't they know how frustrating it is being a bride-to-be and needing to know stuff right away!!

Had a phonecall this morning from a very grumpy chap who is delivering our vases. He was most put out that they'd come in 20 separate boxes and was moaning that he had to deliver them in his own car. He asked what was in the parcels, and when I said vases, his response was "!!!!!! do you want with 20 vases?"!!! He then swore at me again when I told him the boxes would be large, fragile and heavy! He must be being paid to deliver them so you would think he would be glad of the commission. Apparently not- charming man! Just hope they turn up in one piece. Need to figure out where we're going to put them lol!

To be fair Hadley, I'm really not that organised. I haven't found a bridesmaid dress yet, I just know what colour I want. And I haven't booked suits or florist yet either, we've just figured out what we want. Finally!!
