I suppose it because of it being bank holiday, although we didnt realise that when we booked it!

I'm in Burton on Trent. I dont think there are any other brides around here that I know of anyway!

We are having ivory and black, with touches of gold here and there.

I thought I would keep it simple, being not being artistic and all! Can always find cream accessories!! lol

    Hi neenaww *waves*

My exclamation key at work is fine, it's our home lappy that is the prob!

Thank you- only took us 11 months to agree on the colours :rotfl:

Give me a shout if there's anything at all I can do to help you :) Not long at all for you now :j

My bf has just texted me to say that the company we ordered the vases for centrepieces from yesterday have just delivered one vase! Where are the other 19?!!!!!

Snap, we didn't realise it was a bank holiday when we booked it either. We booked it in August 2010 and the venue only had two 2012 dates left, and one of those was the date my bf's cousin is getting married on so we were left wit 25/08!

That sounds a very classy colour scheme, I really like it :D With our venue being so dark, we've had to go for lighter, brighter colours, otherwise I may well have gone for ivory and black, it can look so stunning :)

Wow you have been busy Tiara

Well ive been to the cake shop today they have quoted me £250 for the cake,£50 for the stand as they dont have the one i want we will get £45 of that back when we return it and £20-£25 for delivery  my mum and dad are paying but that is crazy, only reason i went to this one was because they deliver the cake shop i usually use doesnt and the venue wont accpet the cake the day before so looks like we may go back to our cake shop and have to take the cake in the morn along with us just have to think of a way of keeping it cool as the venue is 30mile from us and we cant expect someone to travel there on the morn to take it and come back.

signed the contract yesterday aswell :)

were getting our vases from ikea i dont need loads as im possibly only doing them for the wedding breakfast tables and then they can be dotted onto the evening tables (different rooms)

i get to try my dress again on the 29th,my birthday :D as mum is coming up the day before so going in on the fri,im so excited.i then need to decide how many hoops i want on my underskirt which i will try different ones when i go

Arent weddings difficult!!!! It would be so much easier if it was all just done for you (free of course!!!!)

I had a look at some vases in Ikea, they were only about 70p!! bargainous. Not decided what to do yet, need some inspiration.

Happy Birthday for the 29th and Happy Dress Trying On Again Day!!! lol
