I don'tnow I think I'm having a bit of a crises as there is still so much to do and its only 6 months away! Plus H2B doesn't seem bothered about sorting anything out and more bothered about playing WoW

So I have put my foot down and said we're not going abroad for our summer hols but spending a week sorting the Wedding out! He's not happy but its not going to organise itself is it!

Our main favor is going to be a donation to cancer research (OH's dad passed away last year from cancer) as well as a few other little things - cant remember what but the main one was the donation.

aww sharpee, my h2b is the same, thinks now I have 6 weeks off (i'm a teacher!) it will all magically get done... he's got a week booked off to help soon!!

Hi everyone, hope your plans are all going well.
Feeling good today, eventually found my dress, fitted perfectly, no alterations needed, and I felt great in it. Can relax a bit now, dress, registrar, caterer and afternoon booked, evening party venue and disco booked. Honeymoon was the first thing booked. ok now I just want it to be 18th Feb 2012. xxxx

Today, after many ups and downs regarding the design - we have finaly started printing our invites!

The OH picked some card which was faaaar to thick to go through any printer we had access too. It must have been upwards of 350gsm thick - its a shame as it was really nice pearlesent card. However after a quick shopping trip today, we settled on pure white card which goes really well with the purple ribbon. We are using a laser printer which gives the text we are printing a sharp finish. Just waiting for the card to flatten out before printing the inside!

Other than that - all our suppliers have been picked and deposits paid for so really - its just the small stuff and details to get licked!

Hello, I am officially one of you now! Just booked for 4th Feb!! EEK!

Been together 7 years, but only engaged for a few months!

Got a dressmaker doing the dress, finalised the plans last week, but it didnt feel real till we put the deposit down on the venue today!!

I feel like i'm really far behind everyone else in terms of planning!!

Now got to do the admin bits, contacting registrars and giving notice. absolutely no idea how to do all that so need to do some research!

Our theme's going to be aubergine and ivory, with calla lilies and candles

Day invites done - appart from one as we are waiting for the name of the new born (2 weeks away!). Will hopfully get them posted out and delivered in the next couple of weeks (with ours been a Friday...)

Evening invites - half done, leaving some of the ones for work until closer to the time

I wish we had just bought them now haha. Saying that - its only cost us £50 so far and thats with 3x too much ribbon, and the wrong card!

Have just realised this thread is very quiet, how's everyone getting on with their planning?
Ours is coming steadily along, going to a wedding fayre on Sunday, so will hopefully get more done then. We're now making our invites and am not crafty at all, so got a busy few weeks ahead of us.
