  • Hi Sepa, I'm so sorry to hear your news. The love and joy that we gain from having animals is tempered by the sadness when losing them. Be strong.

  • Hi Sepa

I haven't said hi before but saw your post about your cat and I couldn't ignore it. It's so very hard with animals - I had to make the very difficult decision to have my dog put to sleep in August last year. It was awful but I just had to remind myself that it wasn't fair to hold on to him to make myself feel better and I had to do what was best for him. Still hurts a lot and I miss him every day but at least I know he did not suffer more than he had to.

It sounds like you are being very strong and doing the best that you can for her. Best wishes for tomorrow

    Best Wishes AG

So sorry Sepa. Hope it all goes as peacefully as possible.

Oh Sepa. So very sorry to hear. You are making the right decision in her best interests, but it's heartbreaking.

    Thanks for the support, everyone.

The vets came at about 12.30 and were very quick and professional. She wasn't distressed at all, and she died pretty much instantly after they put the drug into the catheter - she was very weak, poor thing.

I'm missing her terribly, we were very close. I love my other cat, but she's just not Mika!

Btw, how do you post a picture? I've downloaded them from my phone now, so can post the one with the bandage! It really was funny, although I don't think she particularly appreciated the joke!

Hi Sepa so sorry to hear about your cat it's horrible but sounds like it was the right thing to do.

Good luck with the weightloss I cannot work out stones, lb etc beats me? I am jealous though my goal is 75 kilo makes me sound like a giant reading yours.

To post a picture you need to host it on another site like photobucket and the use the link above on MSE and copy the imp code in.

I usually post it on my Facebook page right click copy and the paste straight on here.

Thanks Tall Girl, I think I might go down the facebook route. Does it make you feel better about your weight if I tell you that I am only 152cm tall?! (that's 5ft for all the other folks... I do speak ft and inches when it comes to height!).
