Shelley how did you get yours to look so perfect???

I have now put together the 2 I need for christmas, I am fairly happy with them but they look nowhere near as professional as Shelleys.
Every christmas without fail OH buys his step mum a box of after eights and his dad a chicky orange so this year went along the same theme but a better way of presenting ;)

Rusty, they look fab, I'd love to receive one of those as a pressie :T Are you going to give them as they are or wrap in cellophane?

I've had a go at making fudge this morning - complete disaster, it's gone all grainy, used a sugar thermometer and everything  Going to have another go but maybe a different recipe. Also need a new thermometer as I broke mine in the washing up bowl

Thanks Rainmac :) I have had the sweets wrapped and ready to go for ages! but kept forgetting to buy some oasis :) ... I amm happy they are done. As for cellophane I haven't decided on that yet, think I might just leave them as they are?? maybe put some kind of bow on them or something. Will speak to OH when he is home later and ask what he thinks :)

Want me to come clean up the fudge for you? bet it tastes yummy lol

I'm not brave enough to try anything like that ... although I am tempted to try some shaped chockys for the kids :)

I think your bouquets look beautiful as they are - a ribbon or bow would be nice too I guess.

I am not yet defeated on the fudge, going to try another couple of recipes later in the week or next week ;)

    here's one i've just done for my sister (25 y/o) - i think she'll love it! :)

cost £1 for the box in poundland, and approx 70p for the sweets (would have cost less, but used a whole net of gold coins)

I've got two little silver coloured buckets I was given something in last year and thought I'd do a load of sweets sticking out of them for the two foster boys we've got..............how do you fix them on the sticks ? I can get some oasis no problem but its all the fiddly bits that'll will do my head in......
Only other thing I can think of is sticking a load of bars of choc.sweets in and do it that way,
    Mary

I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !
