I am going to make my OH a retro sweet jar but I was wondering the same thing - if the sweets (etc) would last if I made it now?
Don't want to hang on too long, am very impatient :rotfl:
I'm impatient too
but I'm going to wait as I'm sure I read somewhere (this thread I think) that some people had problems previously with sweets sticking together after a while once put in jars/boxes etc. I think I'm going to do mine a week or two before Xmas. If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
I'd recommend Wilkinsons pick and mix for the cheap sweetiesSome people feel the rain...others just get wet0

Thanks mary, ooohhh I may have to make up a box and see what happens! If the worst comes to the worst, we'll have to eat the stuck together sweets, oh what hardship

Morrisons had some nice pale blue retro mugs 2 for £1.00 thats looked a bit 50's ,had comments like " what flavour do you like",thought they would be perfect to fill withh sweets.0

rainmac - depends on how sticky the sweets are as well........I had to go and get some sticky ones didn't I...............lol :rotfl:
If I'd stuck to jelly beans or smarties or something like that I wouldnt' have to keep looking. I did put a couple of tubes of sweets in as well and they should be ok,.
Once theyre delivered to my son - not my problem..............lolMary
