OMG those labels were sure stuck on it took me over an hour of constant rubbing with nail varnish remover then soapy water then back to the nail varnish remover over and over again in the end had to resort to the scouring pad too and even that took ages luckily they havnt been damaged too much and I just filled themnow all I need to do is decorate them

I adapted this idea and put pink white cotton wool in with pot pourri flakes, mini soaps, and bath pearls for an aunt, and lots of coloured buttons and threads for my young neice (she loves threading buttons). With the sweet idea - the new Mintola After Eight packets produce a very nice collection of chocs for a little price.

Hi guys,
I've adapted this idea a bit and am making jars of sweets. I have bought jam jars and pretty lid covers (although obviously you could save even more money by using old jam jars if you eat a lot of jam!) and I am going to fill them up with sweets, choccies and fudge. They work out pretty cheap individually so I'll probably give two different ones to some people - maybe an all pink one for my pink-obsessed friend plus a jelly baby one cos she also loves those.
I am making labels on my pc with pics from a google image search of anything sweet related, which again, will be personal to each person.
Have a look at one of the label's I've made for my niece, Laura.
I've also put all the images I got form google on there.:rotfl:

If you don't have jars like I didn't, I got mine from;

I just need to get some cheap sweets now and with everyone's posts on here, that should be eeeasssy!! :j
Hope this helps xxx0 -

I love the sweetie pictures, would you mind if I copied the images?? The idea of the jars is good as wel, but a bit expensive for me. However, it might have to be done, as we do not eat much that come form jars...

Of course you can steal the pics; that's why I put them on there - to help you guys.
I only got them from a google image search myself so they are already out there on the web to be used.
I love doing creative stuff like this, so I'm happy to help anyone :rotfl:
