Yes, they are the £1.99 ones from the range.
They have a website - if you google the range it'll bring the website up, but delivery is £4.99.

kirstyreanne: take a look in julian graves for retro sweets such as rosie apples, aniseed twists and some of the older retro sweets. Also have a look in a newsagents that sell sweets from jars by the quarter,i know my local newsagents still does these types of sweets. may save you a few ££ in postage!

What an excellent idea. I'm going to do a few of these, one standard one (if I can find a box with compartments) for my brother. His gift has to be posted so thiw will be ideal. One with mini kilner jars from Ikea for my mum who is an an avid pickle and jam maker so she'll reuse the jars and a tool box one for dad who is a joiner.0

This sweet things is a great idea, but it can also be spread wider. I saw in John Lewis a giant plastic jar of arts'n'crafts stuff for kids (ribbons, sequens, straws etc). It was £14!!! I bet you could make your own for well under £5, and it would keep the kids (messily) busy for hours.
Sorry can't get it to show the image of the jar, but you can see it here:

I agree... I've just in fact filled some of the woolworths compartment boxes with craft stuff for children (I made three) - I just bought some of the craft bits from pound shop locally and also The Works. Included pom poms, felt shapes, glitter, glue, pipe cleaners, craft scissors, sticky eyes, beads, stamps, etc. Came in at about £4.50 each in total including the box.
Oh and a tip for those like me who cannot remove the sticky stuff off the label on the boxes - stick a piece of card over the top and use some foam letters (buy in card making supplies shop) to spell out the name of the recipient. Voila nice personalised box!!0 -
I've got the woolworths boxes and I found if I grabbed the end piece that's not stuck to the box and did a good fast rip, it left a little bit of the sticky behind and did the same thing to that and got it all off in 2 swoops.0

My tip for getting the sticky stuff off the Woolworths boxes is to use nail polish remover - put some on a tissue and rub it on the box, it works a treat!
(although I nearly passed out after the third box from the fumes!)

I can't wait to make mine with my £0.99 Woolworths boxes. However I am going to be patients and wait until the weekend before as I don't want the sweets to go soggy.
I know my 4 year old will want to consume them immediately so am not looking forward to the E Chemical overload:eek:
Actually have bought sweets with natural ingredients but there will still be a sugar rush.Money SPENDING Expert0 -
How's the boxes coming along, thought I'd bump this thread seeing as it seems to have been forgotten about lately - lol
I'm about to start filling mine anyday now, but how do you wrap them??
