I wanna do some too now :-)
Great looking boxes, especially liked the minty one.
What could one put in the boxes other than sweets for little kids?, but that might be a slightly healthier option. Not sure if BIL and SIL would appreciate me giving their kids a box full of sweets.
Might make a box for FIL and his new wife too. IF I get enough free sample i suppose one could use those in a box like that thoo (providing they fit the spaces)
Thanks for the idea and indeed a lot nicer to make urself, have it personalised than to spend £25+ on a box full of sweets.Life without string would be chaos.0 -
anyone have any ideas what to do with a LOT of drumsticks?, my BILs fave thinking maybe a bouquet or something but the sticks arent exactly long enoughYes Your Dukeiness0

Get a foam ball - a BIG one from either a florist or craft shop
I'd cover the ball in tissue paper to stop it showing through too much with the lollipops
You could put a long stick in too and poke it in some clay in a plant pot to make a lollipop tree

Sorry wasn't very clear.... Similar to the idea above - can be done for any sweeties.
Stick a long skewer in each of them and put into some polystyrene, and make a kind of bouquet with it like the popcorn bucket bouquet below......
EDIT: would like to say heres one I made earlier, but sadly not....it was just googled!!!
