Hi All
Fantastic ideas on here and the pictures look great. :T
In case anyone is looking for some retro sweets, Julian Graves seem to be doing a revival of these - 200g for @ £1.20 so didn't seem too bad.
I thought I'd better try out those jelly bobble things from liquorice allsorts before telling you all - not so shabby but I think I might have to try another bag just to make sure
Hope this helps
MxI was going to take over the world but got distracted by something sparkly.......0 -

and worried they won't taste too good now. Maybe if I get them wrapped up asap that might help
I'm sure yours will be fine, nothing was inedible just a couple of chewy instead of crispy maltesers, we are still scoffing them!0 -
How many days are there in Advent? Ashamed to say I can't remember, but maybe these little divided boxes could also serve as substitute advent calendars, with the date marked on each little cube.
And for small children, maybe they could be filled with daily little treats when they're good and you want to reward them, as opposed to spending five minutes on the Naughty Step !!!0 -
25 days on the advent calendars. it goes from the 1st of dec to 25th dec.0

Retro bread baskets from Ikea could be good for the retro sweet hampers and they're only 39p...did post on another hamper thread but maybe they would look better with the sweets. Also the shape reminds me of a trifle bowl my mum used to have in the 70'sNot in debt at the moment, but been there in the past and realise I'm the kind of person who could easily fall back into it with the self destructing spending button so making sure I keep on top of being a good girl.
