At last I managed to get some of the boxes with compartments:T I got them from the 99p shop in Halifax. They had loads. Hurray:j :j I was starting to panic as I kept visiting several of the shops suggested and I'd bought the sweets but I couldn't find any boxes.
I like to live in cloud cuckoo land :hello:
  • This is a little different, but I thought I'd tell you what I decided anyway.

I got some nibbles trays in Morrisons for £1.99 each. They're quite large. A bit bigger than a dinner plate, and they have triangular sections for putting nibbles in. I bought some of the morrisons bags of sweets to put in them. Mint imperials, chocolate limes, toffees etc etc. In all, for 4 gifts, it came to around £13.50. There is an offer on some of the sweets at the moment which helped.

Not quite the same but it's sweets I know they'll like and they can use the trays again. I'll post a pic in a few days when I've sorted them out.
May all your dots fall silently to the ground.

  • Just been in Poundland and they've got these compartment boxes (small ones) with screws and nails etc in, but you just empty them out and fill them with whatever sweets you want.

I was in Poundland today and got the above boxes, what I didnt realise before is that they have the compartments on both sides of the box so you can open one side then the other, great for putting little sweets in. I got sweets from Asda all packets 3 for £1. Great idea to OP.
