Hey MrsDrink, I cant put any pics up at the mo for 2 reasons 1) I dont know how
I *think* there is a step by step guide somewhere but if you find a picture of them somewhere on the internet. Right click the picture and choose open image in new window. Copy the webaddress (e.g. http://isn'tthisaprettypicture.jpg). Come in here click the little button that looks like a picture of some mountains with a sun (next to the quote button), and paste the webaddress into the window that poppedup. (That should then insert [ IG ]http://isn'tthisaprettypicture.jpg [ /IMG ] into your post. Click preview and hey presto you should have a photo embedded.
    2) Ive hidden them for my oh so cant get them out again till hes out!
Tell him to !!!!!! off for half an hour so I can join you in drooling over them :rotfl: (I do like shoes!)
My budget is 'the cheaper the better':rotfl:!!
A girl after my own heart lol. I'm pretty much going along the if I don't choke on my drink when I see the price then it can't be too bad... then I will scour the internet to see if I can get it even cheaper. (Have just spent the last hour searching for a cheap(ish) vertical towel raditator with towel hanger for our kitchen - then emailing one company to see if they will uphold their price match promise! Not very 'weddingy' :rotfl: )
  • Ok, at some point I will try and take a photo and will attempt to load them on here!!

I love shoes! im sure my oh is probably worrying that most of the budget will go towards shoes as Ill keep chopping and changing my mind and will end up with 20 pairs of shoes!!

Yes, thats exactly what I do, find something and then research it more on google to see if I can get it any cheaper. Theres always bargains out there to be had!!

Im so glad our house is all finished now, I much prefer spending my time looking at pretty wedding things rather than spending all my time in B and Q like we used to when we first got our house!!

Very envious!! The first thing I did when I got home from work today? Nope not get myself a drink... not even have a cuddle with Bunny (our house rabbit), get straight on the internet to see if Home Supply had emailed me about price matching a towel radiator for the kitchen!! :rotfl: (They had - and they are gobsmacked that the other company are doing them so cheaply and have said they just can't match their price!! Lol so what's the point of having a price match promise!) So I went to the original company and have ordered it :T. We moved into our house 7 years last September... still one day it will all be completed and we won't know what to do with our time or money (other than buying more fancy shoes - lol I was thinking as I was driving home about wedding shoes... I'm going to see if in the summer Kurt Geiger bring out any strappy silver sandals with killer stilettos to wear with my short strapless wedding dress - that I have yet to find lol).

Right am off to go start the second section of the e-learning diving course... I passed the first one with flying colours (100% lol how swotty am I!)

:) just had an email off my mum - we've set a date (30th July 2011) to go dress shopping - yaaaaay.
And I've also seen a pair of shoes that I'm really loving:

    1421863609-1-miss-kg-paparazzi-silver-courts-classic.jpg

They are "Miss KG" shoes off KurtGeiger's website (£65). Have bookmarked it so I can wait for them to be in the sales! I don't mind spending more on a pair of shoes because they will be worn again, plus the other pair of KG shoes I have are so unbelievably comfy they are like a pair of slippers despite their ridiculous heel lol.

PS I passed the second section of the diving theory course with 100%. :)
  • Wow- those shoes are lovely, I have serious shoe envy!! I was going to spend up to £50 on shoes but then saw the ones I got and they are quite traditional in style, and only have a small heel, but they are comfy and I can walk in them!! Was thinking I should get some with quite a big heel (as Im very short!!) but then I wouldnt last even a few hours in them so have gone for the sensible option.

Oh well done on passing the course.:T
and :j for arranging to go dress shopping.

Ah see I have always worn ridiculously high heels. So I'm very well practiced in walking/standing in them. I have bookmarked the Miss KG ones so I can get them when they are in the sales - lol regardless of whether I wear them for the wedding/party they will be mine :)! I'm a fellow short !!!! (5ft2.5.... lol very very very important half inch!)

I can't wait to go dress shopping with Mum. But I must stop this eating crap thing I seem to be doing this week.... lol carry on at this rate and I'll put on all the weight I lost lol. (I won't let that happen - have no fear!) Lol I am just sooo impatient. I have already completed (and passed with flying colours) half of the e-Learning theory side of the course... I want October to be here NOW so I can do the practical side of it... then I can knuckle down to serious wedding arrangements - rather than all this oooooing and aaaaaahing that I'm doing at the moment. And I'm totally addicted to reading all the other 'date' wedding threads, especially those getting married July this year!!! :)
  • I can wear heels on a night out but during the day i much prefer a pair of comfy flats!! Im 4ft11 and a half and yes that half an inch is very important!!

Oh I need some motivation to stop eating crap! I go through phases and Im definately having a naughty phase at the mo!!

Im just addicted to all things wedding! I love looking up bits and pieces- my friend is getting married in May so Ive been helping her find bits and I think she thinks its funny how organised I am!! I bet come a month before the wedding ill be flapping that ive got so much to do!!

I do love those shoes MrsDrink. Even tho im short as well im not a heel sort of girl so i may break a leg in them shoes:rotfl:
Also i have small feet, went into a dress shop today and asked what the smallest size was and she said two, i was rather happy, as ive been starting to worry that i will not be able to find a nice wedding shoes in size 2:rotfl:

Went bridemaids shopping today as the shop had an event on and i think ive found the dresses i like

Cor Lauraloo you have ickle feet!! (Or as my mum would say - 'doll's feet') :)
I think that bridesmaid dress is lovely - and will suit a wide variety of body shapes/ages as well (dunno what your bridesmaids are like).

Well MrD has gone out to play snooker so that has left me home alone... and what did I do with my evening? Do some more of the diving course - lol. I have now done two thirds of it. I'm such a swot. How much do you want to bet he leaves his until the weekend before we are due to go?! Lol. Still at least if I've done it before if there is any bits he's having struggling remember I can help teach him... lol although I'm not sure how kindly he'd take to me being his teacher lol. (He says I use my teacher voice too much as it is lol). I got an email from PDA saying my next batch of samples (all the red card they do) is on its way - fingers crossed it'll be here tomorrow so I can have an invite making session tomorrow night lol.

Oh I had a lovely moment yesterday - a boy I teach had his hair cut. I said how lovely it was - he said his big sister did it. I said how clever she was to be able to cut his hair for him... he said she was bigger than me (to which I took to mean age given the reference to 'big' sister). then a little bit later he said she was 15. Lol Love the fact he has no concept of how old I am lol. (I'm 31 - will be 32 when we marry).

Oooops - I have just ordered the shoes lol. Got a MSE bargain though. Code over on the codes & vouchers forum gave me £20 off... so they were £65+3.99 postage reduced to £45+3.99. Will let you all know what I think to them when they arrive and whether they are likely to be 'the' shoes... or just another pair to add to my collection lol.:T
