We have 1 song for everyone arriving that's 4:10, one song for signing the register that's 3:38 and one song for leaving that's 3:12 and then an 'extra' song that's 1:32. Those last three songs are all pretty interchangeable though I guess. The form doesn't ask anything about music, just says to put them on a clearly labelled cd.

Well done SB!!! Amazing progress!

This evening I bought 48 black biros for £2 in £land and tested them all (lol) - they all work! I also bought some more sweets, and sorted out a few more honeymoon bits. Baby steps. I think that the excitement of the dress fitting has worn me out!

Oh and I am beyond giving a crap about outstanding RSVPs now, am not bothering chasing them!

Wow not been on here for so long well I'm now getting worried and feel extremely un-organised but when I go through everything I seem to have done it all since I've came on here last I had my final fitting then stupidly went on an all inclusive holiday and now have 7lbs of extra weight to lose whoops I'm hoping the stress and worry will not that off me!

I had my hair and make up trial which I was really happy with I'll upload some pics if I can figure out how

I hope everyone else's plans are going well I'm supposed to be meeting our photographer in the park this afternoon and it's pouring down with rain here in Bedford so I'm guessing thats not going to happen, still waiting for lots of RSVP's I've panic invited extras encase we don't have enough evening guests I'm thinking now that this could go horribly wrong

Probably your first question though is, “Why would you shoot a wedding for free when many others charge in excess of £1000???”

Good question! And the simple answer is “for my portfolio”.

Basically, between now and the end of September I want to photograph 5 weddings, they can be in churches, registry offices or any other premises you like, it doesn’t matter to me, it is after all your special day. Just don’t think I’m restricting myself to churches. Obviously I would prefer as close to Bedford as possible for cost reasons to me but I am willing to travel further afield if I can.

All 5 of these weddings will be shot for free, i.e. absolutely NO cost to yourself!

For this you will get a full set of pictures of your day, edited professionally on dvd. In fact, you’ll get them on 2 dvds so you can put one away as a backup!

What do I get out of it?

Simple, I get the chance to build my business featuring some of the best images from your special day, in essence I get my portfolio shots to show to the world what I am capable of.

Note that this is not some “kid with a compact”, I have been a photographer for several years, have undertaken courses and seminars to improve my knowledge and am a member of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers.

I had already booked my photographer but contacted him and he was happy to be a second photographer if my photographer was happy with it which she was. Not sure if any of you would be interested but wanted to share as far as I'm concerned the more photo's the better x

Morning,

I've uploaded three pics onto the FB page. Can't believe how lovely and quick (she certainly knows her stuff and read me pretty well) she was, she was telling me that she has 78 brides this year! She's one of the only MUAs on the island who do the whole package - hair and makeup.

The serious countdown begins! 28 days to go

Let's see how excited I can get in the office this year... though may have to contain the excitement until after the third year award board next Thursday!

Morning! We are at 4 outstanding on the RSVPs, but all are ones that OH needs to chase up and I have lost count of the amount of times I have asked him to do it!! Grrrr! Men eh?
