Im going through a list from the photographer at the mo trying to work out what group shots we want, I feel a bit bad for oh as a few of them involve siblings and grandparents, and his grandparents are no longer alive and his only sibling is touring in Australia so his list is looking very short!! Plus I need him to decide for ones involving parent if he wants his Dad or Stepdad.

How are other people with step parents dealing with this?

I got some new wheres wally glasses- I got some cheap sunglasses in poundland and popped the lenses out- the ones I had the lenses where well stuck on!!

    :rotfl: at MrDs countdown!!

Oh and I got a normal Mr and Mrs wooden sign today!!

Could you not have photos taken with all sets of parents whether they are step or not? E.g. photo 1: groom's mum & stepdad, photo 2: groom's dad & stepmum; photo 3: bride's mum & stepdad; photo 4: bride's dad & stepdad? Or whatever. :)

    How was the fitting wanchai?

Hope everyone's eczema clears up soon!

Cheers for the anti-bloating ideas, FutureCooper - anything that helps me fit in the dress is good news!

I haven't done anything weddingy today - been very busy with work. But the good news is (previously I had no guarantee of work after the honeymoon) I now have some nearly definite work to come back to :) Yesterday my potental work was being away from home August-January, but it seems there's something i can do locally for August-November. So no leaving my new husband at home alone, hopefully!

Having a play with the photographer's shot list and the table plan, but intend to knock lots of my list tomorrow.

Edit - knock lots off my to-do list that is, not my table plan or list of photos!

I may do this, but he has said for the time we have to allow 10-15 sets of group photos, so I need to take this into account. Im tempted just to go with your photo 4 suggestion, but im not sure what oh thinks (currently on his ps3 so its pointless trying to have a serious wedding discussion with him right now!!:rotfl:).

Babyboots- :T fab news about your job.

That's what I'll be doing. I wouldn't want a photo with my mum and dad together, quite honestly. I'll have one with my mum and OH and one with my dad and step-mum. Though she probably won't want to be in it anyway.

I'm not really in to the posed formal shots, but will be doing a few for those that want them. I don't feel a need to get them with everyone though. Will probably be..
    - my mum & OH
    - my mum alone
    - my dad & step mum
    - my dad alone
    - OHs parents
    - OHs sister & BIL
    - OHs grandad & wife (because he will expect it)

and I think that will be it for us.

argh, someone help me with music..

how long have you got for the signing the register/photos bit? I'm worried we won't have long enough and will go on to the next song and then won't have one for leaving?

Thanks for all the concern and good wishes girls. The fitting went FAB this time!!!!!!!!! I'm so so so chuffed! I've lost 2.5lbs in the 11 days since I last went and it's obviously all come off my back and boobs as the dress fitted perfectly, the cups are now just the right size (no spillover) and it's just dreamy! I was really relieved, as was the DM! She was really impressed with my weight loss. I've also been about 4-5 personal training sessions in those 11 days so that has helped a lot too with toning. Must keep up the weights etc.

The florist cancelled on me again and OH had a wobble about doing the e-shoot, but he's back on board again now after some persuasion. :D

Wonder if Wanchai has been to her fitting yet!! Come on!! Put us out of our misery.

I can't believe it is less than 4 weeks till our wedding. Freaking me out! To be honest I'm really excited and I can't wait but at the same time I just want the house to be perfect. Ha it's funny what we're all obsessing over. Wanchai is obsessing over looking her bestest in her dress, I'm obsessing over looking my bestest in our house :rotfl:. But I have been back to eating proper food today - no binges, and I have tea out ready to go - so no take aways. My ickle tummy (ha) is not so ickle anymore after 5 days of pigging out. 27 sleeps till our wedding :T (Or as I kindly reminded MrD - 27 more evenings to get all the DIY done in haaa)

Ooooh, only 27 days for you! Your DIY is going so well, and your house will look fab! LOL at our obsessions :rotfl:

SKS - we haven't decided yet how long for signing the register, but ours is all classical and instrumental. I really want 'She Moved Through the Fair' for that bit. :D

Mel - thanks for that link, must bookmark it!

Our song for signing the register is just over 7 mins long. On our form there was only enough room for 1 song per section.

Wanchai so pleased your fitting went well :) x
I've been a good girl today:
    B-same old
L-chicken pasta salad from asda (so proud I didn't get any choc or crisps!)
    T-sausages and spaghetti
    S-hotel chocolat choc

smithkinson, we have two songs (3-4 mins each) for the register signing. We have someone to operate a cd player for us, so it doesn't skip on to the next track - can you appoint someone?
