Does anyone know if there is a free website you can set up for people to make donations to your wedding fund?£2 Savers Club for 2022 #120

Thanks for the link to your photos jemb - they're lovely. I particularly like your hair and you look great in your dress.
Hope your FMIL's treatment goes well FutureCooper. My FMIL came out of hospital yesterday and is now recuperating at home.
My wedding favour bags arrived today and they look about the right size and colour. I'm glad I'm just assembling, rather than making favours after all, and they came in well under budget, which is good, seeing as we're going over budget elsewhere!
Ooh Ghostlove, my fitting is on Friday too! I'm a bit nervous about it - i'll be so upset if I look rubbish in it!
Is the credit card for a new honeymoon idea? Care to divulge?
wanchai - well done on all your DIY projects - I'm keen to know what The Big One is too! OH and BM have talked me out of my big DIY project as too expensive and time-consuming, so I'm trying to think of an easier, cheaper scaled-down version.
Congrats on the bargain decorations smithkinson :money:I'm quite enjoying doing the little things on a tight budget (stationery, favours etc) Oh, and thanks for the PDA recommendation:T - I ordered card for making table names and also folded place cards from them yesterday.
21 things left on this month's to-do list (and 11 days to do them in)!
Off to Body Balance tonight (wonder if it'll be empty because of the football)0 -
Fiddling with table plan now we know who's definitely coming - aaagggh! Hardest part is sitting people who don't know anyone with someone they'll have a laugh with, and trying not to make any table an 'odds and ends' table that have nothing in common!0

On way home from trial, photos to follow when back on pc0

I need to get some cbocolates of some sorts for my favour bags. I have got everything else for the ones for the party.
For the actual wedding meal my two kids activity books arrived today. I only ordered them yesterday so that was good service
Am thinking as our meal is only 16 including me and OH that I will get the adults a lotto ticket each, also have realised that my place cards are just flat cards so need to get some place holders.£2 Savers Club for 2022 #120 -
I'm poorly
Got a stinking cold and all I want to do is go and hide in my bed and I can't because I've got to keep going with this marking or I won't meet the deadline
And my nose is bright red from all the blowing
The only plus side is I've lost a pound because I've not been very hungry!
Thought I would pop in and say hello anyway, I'm sure I have done something weddingy recently but can't be bothered to think what it is to tell you all! I'll come back when I'm better and my brain is working lol.
Right back to it - only 3 hours till I can have the next lot of lemsip haha
xThs signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it...0 -
Get well soon Mel.
I've started my 5 week pamper countdown tonight. I'm going to scrub/exfoliate every other day and moisture every inch twice a day. I've also got a new nail colour called Romance. It's just want I'm after for the day. It's a pearlised mauve colour. Lush.0 -
ghostlove - oh no about the panic! what are you planning now? hope your dress fitting goes well
SB - no idea about the sites, sorry. if it's just for people to pay money in to somewhere then you could set up a paypal address? what kind of chocolates are you after?
babyboots - what are you doing for favours? and what was your big diy project? maybe we can think of a way to scale it down? I hope your table plan goes well. I am so glad I don't have to do one of those!! I need to start exfoliating and moisturising properly too, might make a trip to boots tomorrow for supplies. I am pleased to be noticing a difference with in my face since getting my new stuff and having a proper routine there so hope the same can be said about the rest of my body!
silaqui - get well soon!
I've bought so much wedding stuff today! I think wanchai making all of her ebay purchases yesterday has spurred me on! After the decorations this morning I've been buying up bits for the kids favour bags - have ordered some heart temporary tattoos  and a different book for each kid, and I'm currently trying to decide which bubbles to buy. Oooh and I got myself a 240 meter spool of bakers twine too:D - it's a little bit sad how excited I am for it!!

Melanie- I started my 'looking after my skin' regime last week, and it feels so lovely at the moment!!
I use the simple face scrub once a week and then the simple foaming cleanser twice a day with No7 day cream, it definately feels like its helping!!
Mel- Hope your better soon
Wanchai- hope your florist doesnt cancel tomorrow.
Ghostlove- where are you going for you honeymoon?
My flat shoes arrived- they are a pinky peach- but so comfy Im going to keep them!! (plus I love the sequin bow!!:D)
babyboots- glad to hear mil2b is on the mend.
JemB- Im just off to look at your photos.
Michelle- cant wait to see a photo and hear all about it.
Oh and my Wheres Wally hat and glasses have arrived, ive tried it all on and although I look ridiculous I think I look ok, the only problem is the glasses have dodgy lenses and I feel a bit queasy wearing them- and thats sober!!:rotfl:
Natalie- hope your enjoying your night off!:)0 -
Silaqui - sorry you're ill - big hugs and take it easy - can you get any help with your deadline? Vaseline is good for the dry skin on an overblown nose.
StokieBecks - what's the main criteria for choosing chocs? Colour, size, price, taste, theme, personalised? Does it have to be chocs, or are sweets ok?
FutureCooper - I'm really going to try and do the exfoliate/moisturise face/body thing too. I get up early for work though, and I'm always too frantic, rushing around, to do it before work. That's a poor excuse really - must try harder! Your nail varnish sounds lush.:)
Smithkinson - I might post a pic of my favours on fb later this week, and describe my big DIY idea, so you can come up with better suggestions - I'll have to explain my secret sort of theme! I can recommend the superdrug coconut body scrub as very effective and only 1.29 for a big tube. It does leave tiny coconut shell bits in the bath though, so it's a bit of a faff to hose the bath down afterward. And what is the baker's twine for?
PinkPrincess - it's your hen do that's the same day as mine (this Saturday) isn't it? Apparently it's going to chuck it down, but I hope not!:beer:0
