Hey everyone.
SB- that is so naughty that they havent once said about the cost of the disk, with out photographer we get joint copyright.
 Grrrr, the photoframes came today, and the actual style is lovely, but despite being wrapped in thick bubble wrap and then boxed they both have massive cracks in the glass!! Need to find out if I can reorder them or if I have to return them and then reorder them.
JemB- me! I would love to see it.
Wanchai- sounds like youve had a very productive day.
Mel- hope mil2b is better soon, your poor oh though and his bad luck with the tyres!! :j at your daughter for helping out and getting another job so quickly.
Ive had one of those days today- oh asked me to stop off on the way home and get him some golf clubs he had won on ebay- but he gave me the wrong postcode and spelt the name of the road slightly wrong so I didnt realise till I was in completely in the wrong place!! Ive been a good girl and have been to the gym
Todays food:
Breakfast: cocopops (just a small bowl though as I really struggled to eat them
Snacks: Yoghurt drink and satsuma
Lunch: salad
Dinner: salad with a beef grill steak thing and a couple of ribs!!
Ive not been great today but I havent had any potato, bread or pasta!!0 -
FutureCooper - sorry it's been a dramatic few days for you and your family - big hugs!
wanchai - that's a shame you have had some dropouts (I would be v annoyed if anyone drops out at this last stage. Our one non-responder has been struck off the list)
smithkinson - that's great that your MoH fits in and likes her dress
StokieBecks - it is a shame it wasn't clear you didn't get the copyright included in your package - did anyone or does any literature suggest it was included, that you might be able to use to haggle on the price?
wanchai - how about promises of letting him do things he likes? Like "I promise you can watch soccer saturday" and "I promise you can have the comfy chair" or something! Or, I promise to give cuddles on demand!0 -
smithkinson wrote: »we have a costco card so I'm going to price some up there but think pound land will still come out cheaper, we don't want very many.
I went to a wholesale and I think they do work out cheaper if you want loads, like each tub probably worked out about £4 each, but you definately get more than if you had say got 4 bags of haribo. And like that massive bag of Marshmellow was about the same price. Lollipops- I got 120 for about £4.50 I think, which works out cheaper aswell.0 -

Hello all my lovely nearly-marrieds, how's it going?
We've just put together our invitations and will be posting them tomorrow, funny how an hour spent doing something so simple has made me feel a lot more organised and positive about the whole thing!
My friend who is making our cake has just Facebook-messaged me to say she has twelve various cupcakes for me to taste test as well. It's a hard life.
All we need to do now:
-Post the blummin' invitations and hand-deliver the ones that are near to us.
- Pay for the rest of the vintage taxi nearly-MIL has booked us (she's given me cash so I can pay for it).
- Book a metric f**ktonne of sausages, burgers, bread rolls and bottles of Coke for the BBQ.
- Have my dress fitting, my dressmaker texted me the other day saying she's pretty much ready for it, so I need to contact her.
- Buy fancy walking sticks for me and Mr Ghostlove.
- Contact nearly-SIL who wants to do my makeup, to get her to do a practice session.
- Mr Ghostlove needs to try on his suit to make sure it all fits properly.
- Meet with the photographer (3rd July at a local coffee shop) to discuss day's itinerary.
- Visit the country park barbecue hearth to decide where the handfasting ceremony will actually be held.
- GET THE BLINKING HANDFASTING CEREMONY WRITTEN or else there won't be a big day to be had!
I think that's it. I didn't think we had much left to do but it looks like an awful lot all written down like that...I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.0 -
Ghostlove - believe me, that's hardly anything!! I have way more to do than that  YAY for your invitations and the cupcake tasting!
I know what you mean btw, I usually feel better when I've done something - anything - even if it's just covering a couple of jam jars!

Meet the DJ to go through playlist
