Well :) as per usual at the moment I came home and started sanding the banisters. :) They are oak, with painted rails. So I've tried to get the edges as good as I could. Bit of a perfectionist!! Just got a little bit more to do tonight then they are done ready for varnishing. Need a coarser/better sandpaper for the window boards - the one I've got is just clogging up way too quick.

Gutted isn't the word right now. I really could cry :(

If we want a disc of our wedding photos as well as the album its gonna cost £250 :( so not happy. Really annoyed that it doesnt mention anywhere when you book the package that if you want all your images on cd you want have to pay for the copyright. I have looked and looked and can't see it mentioned. It should have been clearly stated as an optional extra and then included in your total cost. I only found out because i enquired

    Last thing i needed :(

Really want a cd of images as we are going away to get married so there isn't many of us going and I want to share the photos with friends and family who can't go. Plus can't see the inlaws and my parents not wanting a print or two from them.

Will ring them tomorrow and tell them I am not happy it hasn't been included anywhere when you book your package and see what gets said. If it had beem included originally as an extra i would have been prepared and it could have been paid with the total balance

Aw, SB, that is horrid!!! See what you can negotiate - surely that should have been mentioned at the time of booking :(

Mel - great about your shoes, any pics? :)

Natalie - you are going great guns missy, I envy you your energy right now! I'm feeling a bit yuk, and have to go to PT in an hour. Then am coming home and curling up in bed. Bah to this weather!

On the plus side, my first heart blackboard has arrived and is lovely...

Oh no that's terrible? Is there nothing that can be done to get them to negotiate if it's not mentioned beforehand? Maybe post a thread about it and someone might know?

Mel - I'm sorry you had such a bad week :( hope things improve this week

wanchai - your promise book sounds lovely so far. I guess it's hard to think of them without knowing you both! maybe one about supporting him in his goals/ambitions?

mine would include things like.. I promise not to poke you too hard when you snore, I promise not to ask you to go shopping with me, I promise to tell you when you're being too much of a ****, I promise to not blame you when I forget to put the bins out...

I've been making a few more ebay purchases too. Some sweet bags (we've decided to put a few sweets in each of the favour pint glasses to make them a bit more interesting), some purple bakers twine, and I'm about to decide on some hessian. The children's favour bags have been printed and are on their way - I'm so excited to get them and see how my design came out! Need to make a list of things to get to go in them now (and get back on ebay!! what would we do without it eh?)

Oh and my MoH picked up her dress today and it fits (just) and she likes it so :T:T:T she bought some shoes today too so she's almost got the full outfit. need to buy a sash for the dress and that's it. I'm going to let her choose her own bag (and shoes - but she's already done that) as I'm sure she will already have some.

I think tonight I will make a shopping list of the little bits I still need to get.

Hurrah for your MOH's dress and shoes! It's all coming together nicely :)

p.s. I found Poundland way cheaper for sweets than eBay - HTH xx

we have a costco card so I'm going to price some up there but think pound land will still come out cheaper, we don't want very many.
