Ive toyed with all sorts of ideas for chocs

I thought maybe get foil covered chocolate hearts in my colour scheme but then thought my soaps are heart shaped and didnt want people mixing them up after a few drinks :rotfl:

So then thought will get personalised ones. I have some in my ebay basket because i can get the wrapper in the right colour but not quite decided about them.

Then also toyed with the idea of chocolate dragees in the colour scheme again. But think chocs be better as they will be wrapped.

    :rotfl:Probably best!

I was thinking of getting these personalised chocs, but decided to stick with my bargain love hearts:

You can design the labels in any colour or design, with your own message. Otherwise, the coloured foil-wrapped dragees would work out cheaper and look good on the tables.

Well I have gone off the rails since Friday. I REALLY need to reign it in else I'm going to look very bloated in my dress :(. (Been emotional eating). And it feels like I've spent the night scratching my eczema all night :(.

Oh Natalie ((((hugs)))). You can do it! I have had periods like that too, it's really hard. I'm a real emotional eater too. Do you know what's causing it? xxxx

I'm just logging in to post my weight so hope you don't mind, hopefully it will spur you on!!! :D I forgot to WI yesterday so did it today... 9st 8.5lbs! That's 1lb off since Friday, 12.5lbs in total. :) I did have a rather eventful visit to the loo first, so that helped (sorry if TMI!). :rotfl:

I am very pleased - my dress fitting is this afternoon (woo), I need to fit into the thing properly and then keep up the good work and not rest on my laurels and eat all round me lol.

Why do you think I wanted a house/garden party?! :rotfl: I'm not a control freak - honest... I can delegate... honest!!

:S You know what we think about this!

Well I'm having a few hours of just sitting :D I'm absolutely shattered from all our DIYing and decorating. Might do some after tea when MrD is back from tinkering with bikes. But for now I'm just sitting. :D

Oh yesterday he did trim my cake stand so that is another job crossed off the To Do List. (The uprise bits on the top tier were just slightly too big and would have stopped me getting 8 on it). Job done :)

I think I'm a control freak too lol xx

Good for you having a sit down, you never seem to! :D

Hope your FMIL's treatment goes well FutureCooper. My FMIL came out of hospital yesterday and is now recuperating at home.

My wedding favour bags arrived today and they look about the right size and colour. I'm glad I'm just assembling, rather than making favours after all, and they came in well under budget, which is good, seeing as we're going over budget elsewhere!

Ooh Ghostlove, my fitting is on Friday too! I'm a bit nervous about it - i'll be so upset if I look rubbish in it!

wanchai - well done on all your DIY projects - I'm keen to know what The Big One is too! OH and BM have talked me out of my big DIY project as too expensive and time-consuming, so I'm trying to think of an easier, cheaper scaled-down version.

Congrats on the bargain decorations smithkinson :money:I'm quite enjoying doing the little things on a tight budget (stationery, favours etc) Oh, and thanks for the PDA recommendation:T - I ordered card for making table names and also folded place cards from them yesterday.

21 things left on this month's to-do list (and 11 days to do them in)!

That's great about your FMIL, BabyBoots. :A And well done on getting crafty with your place cards and favours! :D

What is your project, can we help think of a smaller scale but more doable version? xx

Don't stress the fitting. I almost cried at mine last Saturday but am now feeling much better, DMs are very good and the dress will be altered to fit YOU, not vice versa! xx

I'm poorly :( Got a stinking cold and all I want to do is go and hide in my bed and I can't because I've got to keep going with this marking or I won't meet the deadline :( And my nose is bright red from all the blowing :( The only plus side is I've lost a pound because I've not been very hungry!

Thought I would pop in and say hello anyway, I'm sure I have done something weddingy recently but can't be bothered to think what it is to tell you all! I'll come back when I'm better and my brain is working lol.

Right back to it - only 3 hours till I can have the next lot of lemsip haha
    x

Aw, poor thing. Hope you feel better soon xx

Good luck to Ghostlove for the Friday fitting!!! :D

Michelle, where are your photos??? :)

I need to start exfoliating and moisturising properly too, might make a trip to boots tomorrow for supplies. I am pleased to be noticing a difference with in my face since getting my new stuff and having a proper routine there so hope the same can be said about the rest of my body!

I've bought so much wedding stuff today! I think wanchai making all of her ebay purchases yesterday has spurred me on! After the decorations this morning I've been buying up bits for the kids favour bags - have ordered some heart temporary tattoos  and a different book for each kid, and I'm currently trying to decide which bubbles to buy. Oooh and I got myself a 240 meter spool of bakers twine too :D:D - it's a little bit sad how excited I am for it!!

Glad to be of help!! :D:D:D:D It's great once you get everything ordered. :) Your kids' favour bags sound amazing xx

I need to step up my skincare routine too, and get more sleep (I'm sleeping less than usual and all the lotions and potions in the world won't make up for that!). Already drinking loads of water so will keep that up.

Oh and my Wheres Wally hat and glasses have arrived, ive tried it all on and although I look ridiculous I think I look ok, the only problem is the glasses have dodgy lenses and I feel a bit queasy wearing them- and thats sober!!:rotfl:

Could you pop the lenses out of the glasses? I presume they're plastic? Would still have the same effect without the lenses in.

Smithkinson - I might post a pic of my favours on fb later this week, and describe my big DIY idea, so you can come up with better suggestions - I'll have to explain my secret sort of theme! I can recommend the superdrug coconut body scrub as very effective and only 1.29 for a big tube. It does leave tiny coconut shell bits in the bath though, so it's a bit of a faff to hose the bath down afterward. And what is the baker's twine for?

Please do! I love seeing everyone else's wedding bits. I'm very nosey!!
I do have a nice foaming soap and glory scrub from christmas still, it's just remembering to do it! I need some new moisturiser though, so I think I'll get some of that today. Might try a mask on my back too to help condition it.
The bakers twine is for tying the sweet bags (that are going inside the favour glasses) and maybe tying a tag to the glasses saying 'thank you for coming to our wedding' or something along those lines. It's sold in 10 yard lengths or 240 yard spools, and I like to get my value for money! It will be useful for more than just the wedding so it's handy to have. :)

I'm not a fan of dragees myself, I don't really understand them. I think personalised chocolate bars would be nice. Could you design and print the labels yourself? Those aldi chocolate bars.. can't think of the name now.. but they come in the thin box but there's 5 individually wrapped bars inside.. they could work if you stuck your own label on. Or, depending on how much you want to spend, those little thorntons bars/3 chocolate packs, and you could get kids ones for the kids? I think they're about 79p each.

:( I hope you feel better today. You still have a little while yet so don't panic! My eczema flared up last night too, which was strange. I haven't had it for quite a while now and today it's all itchy.

Thanks! Hopefully the bags will arrive today and I can start putting all the bits together. I have a feeling that half of the books won't actually fit in the bags which is a bit annoying but never mind! I wanted all of the books to have love or weddings in the title. :lovethoug

Going to collect the certificates this afternoon and have a look in the various poundshops and home bargains for any more bits for the kids bags before I order the stuff on ebay. I seem to forget that there's real life shops out there sometimes!! :rotfl:

Oh I meant to say.. if anyone is having kids at their weddings and wants some activity type books to keep them busy (colouring pages, stickers etc) these are the ones I've ordered from amazon for the older (2/3/4 year olds) kids..

They're all a bit girly, unfortunately, but luckily for me all of the older kids are girls. The royal wedding one looks particularly good.

I ordered 2 kids notebooks off withkiddiesinmind from ebay they are great. They are ring bound with different activities in and front page is personalised. Plus it gives them a separate sheet to draw or write a message for me and OH to keep:)

Not decided on the chocs yet but thanks every one for all your suggestions. I will have a good look tonight after work

Hope everyone has a good day :D
