Going to ring on Monday to see if what I have been told is true. So want the cd of images as well as the album so I can do my own canvas' and prints for family. Not very MSE like if I spend £150 on really what is just a cd of images (but they are saying you have to buy the copyright for them to have the all)

    Thanks.

I have resigned myself to thinking I am definitely going to have to find this cash. No way I can not have a cd of images. I do photography myself (not pro although I will put up a couple of shots I did at a recent wedding I went to) and like to keep all images I take so definitely want all images of my wedding day.

That's a shame that you didn't know about the charge up front but tbh it doesn't sound like a lot to me. Although I guess that depends how much it is in total. Our photographer was £200 for the disk of images just from the engagement shoot! For the wedding we could choose either a disk or an album. We chose disk. If we had chosen album and then wanted a disk as well the disk would have been £400 I think.

The photographs are included in our package. I already paid an extra £100 to be given a choice of photos for our album (we get to choose 30)

It's not so much the cost but more that it wasn't clear from the start when the whole package was booked else I would have included it straight away - it is only through doing a bit of research I have found out.

Still... Will have to find the pennies somehow I guess.

Good morning all!! Well today is 'get some paint on the walls' day and I'm so excited. Cor was I shattered last night though - Friday night and I'm flaked out by 9:30!! I'm amazed I even managed to take my contacts out and didn't fall asleep in them!!
It sounds like you have all been really busy with wedding stuff - lovely to read!! :D It makes me want to be able to do something weddingy!! But the truth is there is actually very little I can do at the moment. Really the only things that are left to do is get my non-engagement ring plated, which can't be done too early else there is little point, and sort the buffet out, which I can't do yet cause the delivery slots for mid-July aren't available yet. DIY wise though there is LOADS to do. I have just written a more detailed list of my jobs - Ha!! I'm sure it'll all get done though :D We have 4 weeks on Tuesday to get it all sorted. LOADS of time :rotfl:.
I'm currently looking for bargains for July 2013 holidays :D We've agreed to take my CBMIIWHO abroad - I'm currently leaning towards Kefalonia because it really is just a beautiful island I think she will love it. So that is another hobby at the moment - browsing holiday websites :D
Oh and last night while we were putting the final coat of gloss on the stair well (hurrah) we were listing to the wedding play list, and MrD has made some suggestions for songs so I'm going to spend the morning searching for and adding them. :) (We're listening to everything over and over to try and filter out all the bad language... lol one Plan B song has far too many F***s in so that has to be removed ha!!)
Right best get masking taping everything up now ready for the first coat of paint (want to get some on the walls before MrD goes to work so he can share the moment). x

    Goodmorning

Well oh is able to come with me to meet the photographer now- he got the time wrong for his test he had today, luckily he realised just before we went to bed rather than this morning!! Hes back and he passed so thats one less thing to worry about.

StokieBecks- I dont think that price is too bad, but I do think it should have been clear from the start so you could have factored that in when deciding photographers and comparing prices etc. Ours is about £80 I think for about 300-400 pics on a disk with shared copyright, so we can use as we wish and print as many copies as we want. Maybe you could come to some negotiation on price. Your pics that youve taken are lovely.

Natalie- sounds like youve got a busy day ahead of you today. Im having discussions with my oh about some of the songs he wants- one of them my Mum would have a fit!!:rotfl: Is it possible to have done an even more detailed list??:p
