    Hi all

Checking back in :o I've been MEGA busy since realising how huge my to-do list is, and have achieved quite a lot in the last few days :) but have missed you gals so much!

First dress fitting yesterday was a disaster. I got so upset about my underarm flab I almost cried. The DM told me nicely that I could go away come back in 10 days to see if I'd tone up any more in that time. Hmm - but I'm taking her up on it anyway. So I'm going back on Wed. 20th. Cutting it a bit fine!!! I'm also considering having tiny cap sleeves put on the dress to conceal the flabby bit when I raise my arm (or even pull my shoulders back). Honestly, I know that it's shallow and stupid, but there you go. :o

Going to read back and catch up now. Hugs to all xxx

You CAN do it Mel!! I'm kinda following PMcK in a way - in that I'm eating what I want to eat - just in moderation. My unofficial sneaky peek this morning showed I'm actually 12lbs lower than I was at Easter. so it definitely works.

Hold the phone!!!! 12lbs since EASTER????:j

You're probably right and best with baking then MrsD, to avoid crunchy skins!

We've chosen I feel fine by the Beatles - as long as we can get some moves for it. We seriously cannot even shuffle rhythmically from side to side - so I doubt we'll get the throwing each other around!

I've just found out a good friend is not coming to my hen do, which has upset me a bit :( That's two that have dropped out this weekend. I'm now down to 4 including me, which is a bit sad. She didn't seem to think it was a big deal, she's going cot-shopping instead - not a great reason to drop out!

Aw, that's really selfish of her, sorry to hear that. I have had the same from one or two supposed good friends, and now my attitude is 'if you don't want to come, fine'. I cba getting upset about it at the mo. Hugs to you xxxx

Is it really naughty of me to be contemplating placing 3 separate M&S orders for the wedding cake? The total order comes to £96 but it's £5 off when you spend £30... I'd probably have to do it from 3 separate email addresses and use 3 separate cards lol...

    xx

Not at all!!! I'll be doing exactly the same! If they won't give us 3for2 we'll get our discount this way mwahahahahaaaaa!!!! :D

p.s. I'm on a REALLY strict diet since yesterday morning (the dress fitting upset me so much I didn't want food anyway). I'm aiming for about 1000-1100 cals a day plus lots of exercise and weights. I know it's not sustainable in the long term but I really really want to be slim in the dress. If I can lose 7lbs in the next 5 weeks I'll be over the moon. Wish me luck xx

Oh, also, can anyone recommend a really good 'invisible' hairspray that holds your hair pretty well (but not rock hard) and doesn't look like a helmet? The one that the hairdresser used was crap, so I am going to bring my own!

    Thanks :)

oH AND i BOOKED A NEW mua - YAY!!!

I can highly recommend the Tigi Catwalk Session Series Finishing Hairspray. It holds really well but doesn't stink of hairspray :) My hair dresser recommended it last time I went, and I think Mel said she had some on her dresser side too so it can't be bad :)

Cor getting up was hard to do this morning.

My heart goes out to you it really does :(. I cried after my second fitting too. My daughter took a photo of the bottom of the dress length for me and then one of my back fat so i could see how much overhang i had. OMG my arms!! I am having a bolero made to cover with cap sleeves and also i'm going for an instant tan glow on my arms to help a little.

Well done on the salad. I have had 2 boiled eggs and a green salad bag. Damn these arms!

I could barely wake this morning, the alarm clock was a killer. Still i am trying to think it is only 5 and a half school weeks left til we break up again and then it will be wedding week :T I hope your journey home is better.
