See I don't rate tricep dips off the side of a chair, because for me it hurts my shoulders before it works my triceps. It puts a lot of pressure in your shoulders, and if you think about it, your shoulders aren't designed to take that movement (of your arms trying to be 90 degree behind you!). There's a fair amount of debate about them on the internet - I googled them after I noticed my shoulders hurting incase I was doing them wrong.0

Triceps killing me today from yesterday's circuits (tricep dips) - might try your one later in the week MrsD!
Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally good news!!! The docs have finally found out what was causing OH's mum's post-op infection. After a procedure tomorrow she should start feeling better - yay! Fingers crossed she'll be feeling much more like herself for OH's brother's wedding on Saturday :j0 -
It's better to do them off a small step or similar I think. My favourite is the one you described thoughThs signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it...0

That is GREAT news BB :T!0

I'll join you Emma.
(I've been writing them in a word document since Easter - but may be extra motivation if write it on here).
B – Branflakes, wheatabix, dried fruit & skimmed milk.
L – Cockaleekie soup
T – Sausage pasta bake
S – 1 hotel chocolat choc
Wanchai - well done!! You must be doing something right. Clearly I would never advocate a crash diet - but for 5 weeks you can do it, shift it, and then go back to eating sensibly. May I ask how much you are now as it's been a while since you updated your signature - it might be motivational to update it? (BUT I thoroughly understand wanting to bury your head). x
Thanks petalI'm currently 9st 11lbs. Would dearly love to be 9st 4lbs by the wedding. I am totally on a crash diet but I don't care - I can do it for 5 weeks and hang the consequences.
I have to do it, my weight loss has totally stalled the last 6-7 weeks and I only have myself to blame
Although I have been exercising, I've also been eating more and having the odd glass of vino doesn't help either. So it's all or nothing on this final stretch!!
What weight are you now? xxSee I don't rate tricep dips off the side of a chair, because for me it hurts my shoulders before it works my triceps. Same here! I do all the other stuff instead. It isolates the tricep muscle and doesn't strain the shoulders.

p.s. thanks to all of you for your kind words. I am very touched. I will reply properly tomorrow, I'm shattered.
Oh and 9 days till I go back to the DM and OH is suggesting that we go out for dinner this weekend! Why can't he just be patient and wait until next week7 Feb 2012: 10st7lbs14 Feb: 10st4.5lbs

* My works hen do - but have chosen a pub whose nutritional information is on the internet and have chosen a meal that isn't damaging.
* A weekend away with MrD - consisting of lunch at Nandos, and tea at Ask.
* My proper hen do - meal out with my CBMIIWHO at my fave restaurant - but it's all proper home made meat and two veg type of food - will have a pudding though.
I am 10st1 this morning so you're doing BRILLIANTLY Wanchai! Honestly!! I gained 2lbs this week... oooops... but that's because I ate crap over half term. (My sneaky peeks did show a larger gain though, but the last 2 days of eating sensibly has limited the damage a little bit). I only WANT to be 9st12 (3lbs to go) to get back to a healthy BMI.
Right look at the time - this isn't getting breakfast!!0 -
OK, have spent the last half hour reading back from p.314 to here! So I'm all caught up, and WOW at all your wedding/DIY progress!!! :T
Thanks again for the moral support, you are all lovely. Also starting to feel a little bit sad that my Grandma won't be physically with us on my special day. (She will most definitely be in our hearts and in my 'non-engagement' ring). I know me, mum and Granddad will shed a tear or two in the morning, just hope it's before I do my make up!Just read an email my Granddad wrote us when we announced our date: "its a shame your Grandma.misses it she would have been so happy for you she considered aperfect match". Got a right lump in my throat reading that. She adored MrD (and me of course ha). It is strange (well actually no I can see the reasoning) that while she will be sorely missed, my father who died when I was 7, won't be (on the grounds that I hardly knew him).
Sorry for being all melancholy.Having a real mixed emotions day!! When I was at the bridal shop another lady came in to try on some dresses. And a part of me was really sad that I won't ever get that moment again!!
Right anyway, this isn't getting the painting done.
Aw, hugs to you and those who will be missing loved ones. My dad will be sorely missed at our wedding, but I am going to do my best not to blub and be all maudlin on the day!7 Feb 2012: 10st7lbs14 Feb: 10st4.5lbs

Or wait till after the wedding? I'm putting all 'food' related things that would mean I over eat off till after the wedding. Well the non-essential ones anyway. Eating out wise I only have the following planned before our wedding (5 weeks today :T)

* A weekend away with MrD - consisting of lunch at Nandos, and tea at Ask.

Hmm, thing is, we have a Groupon for a really fab restaurant so we need to use it pre-wedding or it'll expire. But if we do go, I'll be *very* good!!! :A
Aw, thanks for being so niceThink that you're a little taller than me though? Either way, you have done WAY better than me since April, so :T:T:T:T xx
