. I cried after my second fitting too. My daughter took a photo of the bottom of the dress length for me and then one of my back fat so i could see how much overhang i had. OMG my arms!! I am having a bolero made to cover with cap sleeves and also i'm going for an instant tan glow on my arms to help a little.
Well done on the salad. I have had 2 boiled eggs and a green salad bag. Damn these arms!
I meant to reply to this. Hugs to you also :A. At least you can have a bolero, my dress has a bateau neckline so I can't (damn). Arms really are a nightmare aren't they!Wish there were more bridal dresses with sleeves in the shops.

Well Im eating a nice big salad again for lunch, must resist a slice of cake!!
Wanchai- I think you should go for the meal, just go for the healthy option- this is what I do when Im being good, it still feels like a treat, which Im sure you will need. Sounds like your on a roll at the mo with your plans.
Oh Im meeting with my photographer on Sat, was hoping oh could come but the photographer has emailed to say could we meet about 10, which oh cant do so ill have to go on my own and make some decisions!!
Thanks Emma! I do feel like I'm doing ok at the mo, just needed to knuckle down and actually do it all instead of constantly planning, daydreaming and Pinterest-ing!
I am having a small can of tuna for lunch (yes, that's all). Breakfast was 2 boiled eggs. I also went to H&B and bought some cho-yung tea, which is meant to be amazing for weight loss. Off to brew a cup now. Wish me luck!
Ah, you will be fine with the tog on your own - promise! You'll come up with some amazing ideas between you xx7 Feb 2012: 10st7lbs14 Feb: 10st4.5lbs

Hey everyone
Hope everyones day has been ok, the rain and flooding has eased up a bit here so luckily I got to and from work in normal time!:D
Wanchai- I hope your having a decent dinner as your food so far today is nothing- please dont make yourself ill trying to lose weight (this isnt meant to sound preachy or patronising but its talking from experience and I can tell you it isnt nice:( , although I hadnt actually tried to loss weight I did but I didnt look or feel great), please just be careful and sensible.
Ok so todays food:
Breakfast: cocopops with semi skimmed milk
Snacks in the day: banana, yoghurt drink, 2 satsumas and a time out finger
Dinner: Pasta bake with salad on the side.
Ive done ok cals wise, just must make sure I dont eat a kitkat!!0 -
Thanks Emma
I am about to have dinner with OH - a smaller portion than his, mind!!! No carbs either.
Funny, since the aborted dress fitting on Sat I have totally lost my appetiteI promise not to cut down too much though.
Am sat at the PC going through my 'to buy' list at a rate of knots! The budget is being VERY stretched as I keep seeing pretty things that I want for the wedding. I'm justifying it by telling myself that they'll be gorgeous in the house afterwards!7 Feb 2012: 10st7lbs14 Feb: 10st4.5lbs

Nice to hear from you Wanchai and welcome back.
Well H2B's wedding ring arrived today. It's got morse code of my name around it and I love it. I wasn't sure on the colour but he loves it and has to wear it all the time so it has to be his choice.
Well today I'm shattered and feel really sluggish and I could eat for England. I can't get my diet head on at all. Feeling moody doesn't help!!! Pass us cake0 -
Have some cake then Mel! :rotfl: Thanks btw. It's good to be back.
Your OH's ring is fab - very masculine
Right, dinner over, OOS amendments made, now I'm off to the dress shop (to complain about my dress f**k-up) and then the gymSee you soon xx

Wanchai - I don't know what a bateau neckline is - can I see a pic of your dress? Do look after yourself - you might find yourself fainting or worse from not eating enough, and you don't want t get ill in the next few weeks. (Trust me, illness amongst key wedding party members is incredibly stressful for all concerned.)
Well, if it helps any of you dieters and weight watchers feel better, I'm 10st 8.5, about a stone adrift from my target of 9st 9 (which I was before OH moved in 2 years ago). My BMI of 25.0 only lasted a couple of days after I recovered from my cold a few weeks back! Even though I'm recording my weekly weigh ins and measures, I know the real goal is to look nice in my dress on the day, rather than be any particular size, and the measuring is just a way of me monitoring how I'm progressing with healthy eating and exercise.
I've never really dieted, so I can see why my scales aren't budging! Today I had:
Porridge (with a little coconut, chocolate & syup)
Dried apricots & raisins
Lentil soup and a little bread roll
Chicken & veg stir fry with rice.
This is quite restrained for me, we both normally like to cook interesting dinners, and do like the odd bit of chocolate/cake!
We've knocked a few things more off the wedding to-do list; 22 things left to do in June. I had two favour ideas (one make, one buy) and an idea of something else to make for the wedding, that would take about a day or two to make and cost about £50 for the materials. My sister and OH have talked me out of making the favours, and making the other idea, on the grounds of time, hassle and money. Maybe they know they're the ones that would be dealing with a stressy BabyBoots if I waste too much time making stuff when I'm so busy!
I didn't think we were having evening guests, but OH is thinking of inviting work people. I said if he does we need to get the invites out this week, or they'll feel like an afterthought - added it to the list!
I'm off to body balance - just about regained the use of my body afer circuits on Sunday!0 -
Just a quick note to say that WXY - Alice has finished her wedding dress! Taken a year but check her blog, it's amazing.
P.s. there's no cake in the house(

Can you post the link? I had it saved but got a bit carried away sorting out my faves the day and deleted it.0 -
I've just been for a long run
My scales really aren't shifting though...
Spent most of the day making place cards (that are also bookmarks - lame, possibly) and now trying to shop around for little compact mirrors for bridesmaids presents.
We're moving on monday, 350 miles - eek! that's more stressful than the wedding at the mo! And just found out we're not going to have internet in the new house for 3 weeks, agghhh!0 -
Mel - if you can get through this sluggish phase and eat well you will come out of it feeling a lot brighter - I know it's hard cause at this stage all you want to do is eat for the immediate relief but you know that is a vicious circle.
Come on girlies we can all do this!!
My food for today:
B – Branflakes, wheatabix, dried fruit & skimmed milk.
L – Cockaleekie soup
T – Left over chilli con carne with pasta
S – 1 hotel chocolat choc0
