Ah, yes you've reminded me PinkPrincess, I wanted to get some of that shine spray you wore to your best friend's wedding FutureCooper - what was it? I think it might help make my wedding do look less frizzy.

Oh, and following the make up dicussion, I love cheapsmells.com too - I always get my YSL Touche Eclat from there - it's often £16 vs £23 in most stores.

Well I bet you can't guess what I've been up to? Yep you're right - I've been painting :D I have just done the third coat of the ceiling and coving. I *think* it's the final coat just got to wait till it all dries thoroughly before deciding. This afternoon though we're going to start painting the wood :D Hurrah!! At this rate we could have it all finished by Friday let alone the 17th!! :T Then just the downstairs toilet to finish, the kitchen to tidy, carpet to fit, and the new patio to lay. Easy! :D

I'm so tempted to buy stuff too after that conversation! Must resist, must resist!!

Anyone have any tips for men? Was thinking of getting OH some face stuff for fathers day as I know he'd like to look good for the wedding and won't be covering up with make up like me!!

I'd also love to hear what all your beauty regimes are in the run up. I'm no good at this beauty stuff! Have made myself try harder though, starting with all my new cowshed stuff for my face. It is SO nice, I enjoy washing my face now! mmmmmm.

No tips for men Im afraid! My oh uses a bit of moisturiser for any dry skin and thats about it!!

Youve just reminded me I really need to get back into a routine! Im terrible and dont look after my skin as much as I should! I did treat myself to no7 day cream and foaming cleanser, but after about 5 days I came out in a rash and think it was the foam, so now when I remember I use Simple foaming cleanser and the no7 day cream, but I did get a load of different Simple bits that I was planning on using but just havent started yet, Im going to start again from tonight!!

Babyboots- well done on getting up for the class, hope your feeling ok now.

Ive been a good girl and have been to the gym and had a good work out.

Weve decided we are going to get our mum flowers, but Ive found a lady who does really nice personalised wine glasses so am going to get them one each and one for my older bridesmaid to go with her compact mirror.

It is starting to feel like everything is falling nicely into place now, I hope it carries on going this well!!:D

Yes PinkPrincess, feeling better thanks - think it was just a bit of a shock doing something new - I expect I'll be aching tomorrow. Only bought healthy food in a quick shop today, so we should hopefully do alright for healthy eating this week!

Well done on all your hard work around the house MrsDrink - who needs the gym when you're a one-lady decorating whirlwind?:T

I love all this sharing skincare and make up tips!

    What I do now:
    My regime is pretty basic.

I wash my face with warm water and a flannel. Normally I use Boots time delay gentle facial cleanser/exfoliator (which smells yummy) about once a week/fortnight when I remember.

I forget to moisturise, and normally only do it before I put on make up, which isn't every day. I've been wearing make up less often lately, and the shadows under my eyes have got better (from doing more exercise?). I've been getting dry skin around the eyes since the winter (getting old apparently;)), but I've bought a nice eye cream from Bobbi Brown which seems to sort it out. You're meant to put it on morning and night, but I keep forgetting. I've always had slightly dry skin on my nose, from not exfoliating properly.

What I'm planning to do :D:
Have Hydradermie facial each of the next two months at a salon.
Remember to put eye cream and moisturiser on every day.
Use the gentle exfoliator twice a week - unless anyone can suggest anything better?

How did the shopping trip go FutureCooper?

Oh and another thing im going to do is regularly put hand cream on as if I ever get a dry patch on my hands its on my left hand between my little finger and ring finger so I was thinking if I make sure I put some hand cream on regularly this will avoid this- I dont want manky hands in my photos!!:rotfl:

My man uses l'oreal mens range. It smells all manlike and he moisturises every day and uses a scrub about once a week.

My beauty regime is a little poor! I do moisturise every morning (aldi's Q10 stuff that got 10/10 in all the beauty magazines!) and i use an eye roller ball daily before i put my makeup on. I do wear makeup all day and every day and i shamefully use makeup wipes 100% of the time. I am always to tired at the end of the day to the proper cleanse, toner and moisturiser. I have eczema and to much water dries my skin out.

Well she wasn't as difficult as i thought. We compromised on her wearing white skinny jeans (which she already owned) and a sleeveless chiffon blouse/vest. She choose a lovely coral top with coral gladiator sandals. BUT i did say she can not wear her a damn bobble hat she lives and dies in! Infact i took the scissors to it today and snipped it a little :rotfl:

I did mange to get myself a champagne coloured strapless bra from M&S. They had 25% off their bra's. Not as lacey as i would of liked for my wedding but i'm struggling to find one, so its more t-shirt bra style at the front and a lace back. The straps are pretty though so it would wear well under my white tops on the honeymoon. All for £14.40. Another tick on the wedding 'to do' list.

I now have to search for bolero pictures to send to the seamstress as i have asked her to make one with the lace and tulle chopped off my dress. Anyone want to help? Capped or short sleeves, just enough to cover the bingo's, short and not to much coverage across the breast area.

Me too . . . . I have a pump on my desk and do it a few times a day and i'm also using solar oil on my nails and they are growing nicely and my cuticles have really improved so much that i'm doing my toes daily too!

    I Am Shattered.
    Zzzzz!

But it is worth it - the dining room/stairs/landing are going to look amazing when we've finished.

Am hungry now though - and thirsty.
