Haha I know exactly what you mean Emma - it actually really affects the way I shop thinking that exact thought. I stick to plain, simple clothes that are suitable for fat people to wear because I can't bear the thought of people thinking that about me. I am really trying to buy nicer and more fashionable clothes because I know I shouldn't be like it but I have such a mental block about it. My best friend is a size 22 and she alway looks amazing in what she wears, really nice fashionable stuff and I know I should too but I really struggle to get past it. I think that's why I love make up and shoes so much - they don't matter if you are fat!
Glad your seamstress has managed to sort your dress out Melit's amazing what they can do.
Right I am going to go and order my wedding cake NOW... brb!

Im glad its not just me. Like if I buy a dress they are always the same style- fitted round the bust and waist and then flowy round the hips to hide them and my legs and bum!! I have a few friends who are bigger than me and always look fab- and they wear stuff that I would never dream of wearing despite me being a size 12 and them being say a size 22. Haha, probably the reason I love shoes bags and hair accessories!!:rotfl:0 -

So all in all I felt better in it! I have lost 1lb this week
:T:T:T On both counts. It's great having a short dress isn't it:T. And wow well done on losing 1lb, especially when the rest of us have been gaining!!

Well I have finished the second coat of the ceiling. We *think* it should only need 1 more full coat and then just the odd bit of touch up. I am shattered now though. Having a nice sit down before going round to double check the wood work ready for a first coat tomorrow.0 -
Me too - I'm so glad you think the same thing! I am so boring when it comes to clothes because I just daren't try things out!

Hey
How is everyone today? whats everyone up to?
My plans for the day are gym, shopping, ironing, Grand Prix and resist buying loads of makeup following Mels recommendations yesterday!!:D0 -
Silaqui - I did it! I got up at 7.45 on a Sunday to get to the body pump class at 9. Only it wasn't on, because the instructor was on holiday, and it was circuits instead - back to school PE lessons! I felt sick with a splitting headache during the first of 11 stations, which we repeated 3 times. I had to sit out a little of the third circuit as any of the stations where my head was down I felt so sick and dizzy.
I've kind of given up on my original weight and inch loss targets, as they don't seem achievable by the wedding (I know I'm not going to magically lose a stone in 6 weeks), but I will at least try to eat well, drink more water and exercise 3 times a week.
What's everyone doing today?0 -
I'm off shopping with a friend to help find her 17 yr old an outfit for my wedding. I predict tantrums and stamping of feet!!
I'll join the 'wear safe clothes' group. I don't know why I worry so much about what other people think, I know I shouldn't. So today I'm wearing a maxi dress!!! Gasp0
