Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
Looks absolutely gorgeous MrsD!
FutureCooper - hope your fitting goes well! Your my 'bought-a-sample-too-small' buddy, so i'm hoping the DMs can work their magic! Mine are taking a strip off the bottom to put in the back. :rotfl:
I need to get a shuffle on to get to legs bums and tums - not done much exercise since I've had that cold - it'll be hard!0 -
Natalie- that looks so yummy.
Goodluck with the fitting Mel.
Babyboots- I got a sample dress that fitted perfectly- but as it fitted perfectly I wasnt that careful with what I ate, tried it on about 8 months later to find it was too tight!!! Luckily I managed to find some motivation and lost the weight and it fitted again (it actually needed to be taken in round the bust!!), Im now slightly worried as Ive lost my motivation again and may try the dress on once shes taken in and it may not fit!!! Goodluck with Legs bums and tums!!
I had a wedding related dream last night!! That I woke up and suddenly realised that the day was here, but I had stayed at home the night before with oh as I hadnt realised it was the next day and when we woke up and realised it was that day I was like 'oh no is it going to be bad luck'!! Then I had a panic as my dress was still at the dress makers and hadnt been cleaned and all the stuff was still spread over our house, my mums house and ohs mums house!!:rotfl: Im pretty sure though this wont happen as Ill be well aware its the next day!!:D0 -
So nervous I feel sick!! :{{ what's the day going to be like??!! Haha x0

Bless you Mel - I was exactly the same the first time I went to go try on my dress when I got the email to say it was in the shop. I'm sure that whatever happens they will be able to do something AND you will look amazing on the day. xx0

2nd cheesecake made - when they are cut up and in the freezer (tonight) I'll be half way through them!!
I think when it comes to the day I should eat four - one from each batch - just as a quality control thing

So - my debenhams order has arrived. I bought the daisy dress in two sizes, 10 (which I normally wear) and 12. Unfortunately my boobies couldn't fit into the 10 at all, and the 12 only just (with serious four boobage thing going on). So I'm going to be returning them both. I refuse to buy it in a 14!! (First of all for me that was the size I was 2 years or so ago; and secondly if I get it to fit my boobies it won't fit my waist). Can't remember who asked about whether a strapless bra would be seen - the answer - mine wasn't. The back isn't that low.
On the bright side - I did also buy another dress. And that one is a keeper (size 10 as well ha!). I did get it as a possibility to wear to my brother's wedding (I know - I know - I already have a dress for that). But it is lovely so I *think* I might wear that after our ceremony instead. Here's a piccie:

and a bargainous £36!!
(But I will carry on looking for other dresses - just incase)

Another lovely dress MrsD.
I skived off legs bums and tums to have some Aunty cuddles instead - does a bit of baby bouncing count as exercise?Surprisingly, I'm no way near my weight/cm loss targets, but as long as the dress looks good on me at the fitting, I'll be happy. Still waiting for that phone call to say the adjustments are done, come and try it!
FutureCooper, how did it go today with your fitting?0 -
i love that dress mrsdrink! it's got me thinking whether i should just stop looking for a white dress to wear in the evening and get something like that that could wear again...0

Hi everyone!
Seems like ages since I've posted on here, I think time has just ran away with me!
Natalie, those cakes look absolutely awful, I think you should send them all to me to spare your guests from having to see them....I like that dress too.
Hope your dress fitting went well Mel. Don't worry if it isn't quite right, I'm sure they will be able to make it look amazing - my nan used to make wedding dresses for a living and when she was looking at mine to see whether it could be taken in or not, she was talking about loads of tricks that could be used to make pretty much any dress fit any shape and you wouldn't even know. You will look stunning in it no matter what!
I bought a heart rate monitor the other day and wore it to body combat for the first time this morning - I was gobsmacked - I burnt 850 calories in the hour session! I'm going to take the measurements a few times just to be on the safe side so I don;t overestimate, but WOW!
I've been out today buying a few holiday bits - I need to go through my wardrobe and have a big clear out this week sometime. Most of my clothes are too big now and I'm so sick of being scruffy all the time.
Haha Emma I had a dream like that not long ago - we completely forgot it was the wedding and we went on a day trip to alton towers and then everyone was ringing us asking where we were haha.
xxThs signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it...0 -
Thanks for all your kind words. Well the dress was tight, no denying it. The seamstress quite rightly said you could lose more weight but there's no guarantee you'll lose off the area you need to lose it from. They aren't go to put a panel in because there's to much detail on the top half so I'm having a larger modesty panel made and she'll just loosen off the laces at the back.
If I'm honest and say it out loud then I have to do something about it so here goes; I am 8lb heavier than the day I met H2B and I really really want to lose that 8lb by my wedding day. (it's all well and good giving up smoking but I put on nearly 2 stone!)
So I've read my Paul McKenna again this pm and I'm back on it!!0
