Just heard back from the dressmaker and the alterations are done already! :j I only dropped it off on Saturday! Can't go for a final fitting until May 26th now as we're away this weekend but that's not long at all! Pressure is on now to find a bra by the 26th so she can sew the loops in.

Mel- I would give it to him at the reception. My friend had 2 surprises for her hubby at the reception, one was a signed poster from our local football club (hes a big fan), and the other was that she had changed her son (from a previous relationship) surname so they all had the same surname- Im not sure which one he was more touched by!!:rotfl:

We have a standing joke about my disloyality to the football team he supports. According to H2B and FFIL i should show my support to their team as thats what a good wife does! So i have written to said football club and they have sent me a headed paper congratulations letter. It had both our names on, our wedding date and a thank you for our loyalty. It is signed by the club manager. Bearing in mind this is one of the world's biggest clubs, to have actually taken the time to reply and sign is ace. I am soooooo going to win bride/wife of the year for this. :rotfl:

Now i have to decide do i give it him in the morning with his card and miss seeing his face or wait til the reception which could open up an array of football banter from 'other' club supporters. Hmmmmm??

I've just been searching etsy (as ever) for something for my hair and it reminded me that I don't think I ever posted a link to my ring did I? If I did then sorry for repeating myself! It's this one here - the rose gold one on the main picture (I can tell it's mine as they are handmade and mine has that exact slight imperfection in the round around the diamond). I love love love it. I chose it myself, OH actually proposed with my granny's rose gold wedding band, which I wore for four weeks until this one arrived, and they match perfectly. I tried on lots of bigger diamonds, but they weren't for me. I'll be wearing my granny's wedding band with it once we're married. I don't have any gold jewellery, as I don't really like gold, but this rose gold is so nice. It's lovely and warm compared to yellow gold, and I like that it almost blends in with my finger.

right - a friend needs some help - emergency fancy dress party! She needs a couple outfit that's easy to do, i.e can be done mainly with 'normal' clothes. So far I've suggested Daphne and Fred from Scooby Doo, Morticia and Gomez Addams, or Sandy and Danny from Grease. Any other ideas anyone? xx

The blues brothers (some girls wouldnt do this, but I would with oh as it would be nice and easy!!)

Does it have to be a known couple or could they just go as a theme that matches? (if that makes sense!!)
