ok, have had a quick read through.
Wanchai- well done on the gym and losing weight this week.
:j on getting some rsvps back Rachel.
JemB- I cant see the photos either.
Ghostlove, you still have plenty of time, I would get your assignment out the way and then concentrate on the wedding and the hand fasting ceremony.
Smithkinson- glad the plans are going really well, and that you sorted the hotel out. Annoying for your parents, but I guess one unhappy lot of people is better than a big chunk of your wedding party.
Ok, Im slightly worrying. A very good friend is doing my hair, and has said this will be her wedding present to me, well she has asked what time the wedding is because she has someone else who wants their wedding hair that day aswell, and I think she is thinking she can do both, and now Im panicking that she will run out of time, I think Ill speak with her next time I see her and just get her to go through times etc to be sure she can do it all.0 -
Oh I really hope you manage to get the timings sorted out Emma - that is always the fear of 'free' things - whether they'd let you down if something else that would pay turns up. :S
Well tomorrow is my (our) RSVP deadline. I have just sent our mum's a list of family members that haven't let me know. (Tut tut - black mark against their names!). I have texted a friend who said she thought she'd already said yes (she hadn't - she'd just told me she'd received the invites and asked about a gift list). And have just FBd a few. We have
For the Ceremony: 12 yeses, 5 nos.
For the Party: 37 yeses, 6 nos, 2 possibilities (?!?!?!), and 8 non-replied0 -
I know, Im hoping that as we have been friends for about 18 years now that she wont cancel for money, but I worry that she will try and do both and rush. Im even considering persuading my and for paying for my oldest sister to have her hair done so that that is one extra person she needs to allow time for (plus I think it would be nice for my sister to have her hair done with the rest of us)!!
Im currently researching for my hen do outfit, we are having a wheres wally theme!!:rotfl:
Natalie- hope the remaining rsvps reply soon!! Its so annoying that you have to chase!0 -
When we went to Amsterdam there was a group of girls all dressed up like Wally - they looked fab!!0

oh no, that would worry me too. perhaps if she is mentioning that there might be another client or something you could just offer to pay her to make you a 'proper' client? might make her realise that she isn't giving you the normal amount of attention and reassess?
do most of you have each other on Facebook? if anyone wants to add me then just send me a PM :cool:0 -

I have said that I will pay, but she has insisted that she doesnt want any money. Like when I had a my trial I had a trim and then she put it up, but she only wanted £10 for the trim (as she didnt style it), but I insisted that I gave her more, and this was what I plan on doing on the day, or compromising that she does my hair for nothing, but Ill pay for my sisters or something. She has made it sound like I will be priority and the other woman will have to be fitted in around me and my plans, but I think Ill just confirm with her that she is confident that she can fit it all it.
2 months today Natalie- Ive already checked and seen youve changed your profile pic!0 -
More RSVPs! So far we have:
6 No
74 Yes
31 Outstanding
Must chase up the missing ones at the end of May. Some of them I know are definitely coming but they just haven't bothered posting their RSVPs yet, so there are only about 12 that I'm not sure of.PinkPrincess83 wrote: »ok, have had a quick read through.

I have been missing in action for a while and i have just caught up . . . . everyone is getting lots done and now I feel rather guilty as I haven't achieved anything of late!
I do have something to share though, providing you can keep a secret and you mustn't mention tell anyone who might remotely hint to H2B . . . . . . .
We have a standing joke about my disloyality to the football team he supports. According to H2B and FFIL i should show my support to their team as thats what a good wife does! So i have written to said football club and they have sent me a headed paper congratulations letter. It had both our names on, our wedding date and a thank you for our loyalty. It is signed by the club manager. Bearing in mind this is one of the world's biggest clubs, to have actually taken the time to reply and sign is ace. I am soooooo going to win bride/wife of the year for this. :rotfl:
Now i have to decide do i give it him in the morning with his card and miss seeing his face or wait til the reception which could open up an array of football banter from 'other' club supporters. Hmmmmm??0
