Sssshhh . . . Day 3 of being back on the slimming tank

Even bigger shush I'm having my second take away in as many nights tonight... I think its the least I should have after two days of interviews. (Didn't get the first one - waiting to hear about the second). Will be back to my no-takeaway diet soon! (I had actually lost 9.5lbs!! Just by eating proper home cooked food - eating everything I wanted just in moderation e.g. bangers and mash and lasagne!!)

Hi Sliaqui - good luck for the interview! I was invited to a two-day interview once at school. The first day had 5 panel interview sessions (each with a panel of 4), a practical exercise and an interview with the head. Day 2 was meant to consist of a presentation and various other things. At the end of day one, everyone involved in the assessment was meant to gather and discuss which of the 8 shortlisted candidates to invite back for day two. They decided to bring back none of us!:rotfl:After all that hard work preparing, I went to the pub for a comiseratory whinge with one of the other candidates!

Good luck with the results of your second one MrsD!

Hope you're feeling better soon Wanchai.

Very exciting about your dress fitting Lauralou. Is it you that having one the same day Wanchai? Hope you both have fun.

Friday is my weekly weigh in and measure day, and I thought I'd share with you my results. After 4 months of trying to shift a bit of excess person, I have lost... 3lb. Not very impressive at all!

My other stats look like this:
    Fat lost 6lb
    Centimetres lost:
    Bust 2 cm
    Waist (smallest part) 4cm
    Waist (belly button) 4cm
    Belly (biggest part) nothing!
    Muffin top 4.5cm
    Bum 1.5cm
    Thighs 4cm

My original aim was to lose another stone from today's weight by the wedding day. Having only lost 3lb in 4 months, a stone in 10 weeks seems very unlikely.

Having said that, I wasn't doing much exercise in the first few months, as I was working very long hours. I'm now managing 3 sessions a week, but hoping to see more improvement.

I guess my real aim is to look like my dress fits me (if any of your friends are ever in the same situation as me, choosing between two equally lovely sample dresses, tell them to pick the one that already fits!) and tone up the wobbly bits to look nice on honeymoon, so maybe I need a new goal that isn't based on my overall weight loss. I don't want to be feeling down on myself in the weeks before the wedding about being overweight. I know the calendar says I'm likely to be feeling hormonal the week before - bridezilla alert! :rotfl:

Goodluck with the weight loss baby boots- looking at your measurements it looks like your doing great.

0 more sleeps!:j I have no idea what time oh will be in, but I cant wait to see him!!

Well I tried on my wedding ring last night- and I still love it! I didnt want to take it off!!

Goodluck on your dress fitting LAuraL. (and Wanchai if yours is the same day).

Is anyone else well aware time is zooming by!!

    Goodluck with the interview Mel.

I was trying to work out when to dye my hair to tie in with the wedding, I think ive decided Im going to try and wait another 4 weeks before I next dye it, then that will tie in with then doing it the week before the wedding! It will mean this time it will be 7 weeks but I would rather have roots than do it one extra time!!

Well what is everyone up to this weekend?

I find when my friends call and say what have I been up to, I'm at a bit of a loss! Er, going to the gym, surfing the web for wedding favours and gifts, staring at wedding spreadsheets of budgets and table plans, trying to work out what readings to have, ridiculous thoughts about trying to drink enough water and remembering to use body scrub and moisturiser, now I've even resorted to buying multivitamin pills that my hair stylist reckoned would make my hair grow faster (like this!). All to try and look nice at the wedding/on honeymoon, and incredibly dull for anyone to hear about!:rotfl:I may be becoming a bridezilla....

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Me too!!!!

Haha do you have any specific knickers you are looking for (weird question lol!) I'm going to go underwear shopping in June, again for the weight loss reason - my boobs have shrunk by a good cup size :( - I've lost 20lb since Christmas.

WOOHOO, well done Mel!!!!!!!!! :T:T:T That is amazing.

Oh, I haven't a clue what knickers to wear for the wedding, don't care tbh! :rotfl:

Are other people going to have a clutch bag? I already own a little satin bag that matches my shoes perfectly so am thinking about putting my essentials in there!, but then im a bit worried it will get lost as Ill forget about it!!

Oh, you have done so well inchwise!!!!!! :T I'm the same, I haven't fitted in much exercise :o but am going to step it up a gear from this weekend. I'm still 9st 3lbs so need to get very serious about losing more weight!! I've started using kettlebells and am finding them very good. I want to be as close to 9st as poss by 14 July!

I had my hair trial last Friday too, it went great!! I am very happy with how she did it and totally confident about her getting it right on the day. It will be in a low bun with a little height and swept over at the front - very Grace Kelly! I love it. Am debating not bothering with a headpiece!

Natalie - good luck with the job xxxx

How exciting you get to see your fiance tonight PinkPrincess - have a fab weekend!

I'm not sure we have any exciting plans. My fiance will have a friend over, so I might disappear off to legs bums and tums and do somne tidying up in the garden, seeing as it promises to stop raining for a whole weekend. I have honeysuckle covering half of my front window!

Wanchai - thanks for empathising with me. Your hair trial sounded fab, and the bag is very cute too. Must add 'buy bag' to to-do list! :) How was the hen do?
