For MrsDrink - would this work for your hair? :) It's got the oval shaped crystals but is round so not sure if it's what you're looking for xxxhttp://www.shopbando.com/no.-110/prod/265?rc=13How is everyone getting on? Sorry I've been sooo busy and haven't been on here in a while :o

Awww bless you for still looking - ha I gave up not long after I last posted about it - I have decided to get a colleague to make me one. :) I agree with Wanchai - it is lovely but not sure it's right. I think it's a bit too big and uniform :) :rotfl: No pleasing me!

Quickie - then I'll read the thread properly - (Oh Wanchai - did I say well done on losing 1lb yesterday? I don't think I remembered - d'oh! Congratulations!!)

I have just had an email from our chair place - they have enough chairs for us to hire (30), but they don't have any tables left for that weekend - bloody sods law. Now does that mean I can go back to no tables and people can just make do?! :rotfl: I am emailing a few other places to see what their costs are like - bloody typical as the table cloths arrived today (off ebay - so not like I can just return them cause I've changed my mind!)

Thanks my lovely :) That's 2lbs off since last week, I am well chuffed!!!! :D Please let me keep it up....

Oh, bummer about the tables!!!! Wait and see what the other places say first xxxx

:rotfl: I am being a good bride and I have emailed two more places within distance to see if they'd have any free that weekend. :rotfl: why did he have to go sticking his nose in now - why not tell me this when we first discussed it lol.

    Right yoghurt time :)
  • Hey everyone.

Im still feeling pants!:( Went to work but was home in bed by lunchtime (despite about 11hrs sleep). I had my weigh in today- another 2 lbs off taking me to half a stone- :j . Im going to resist my target treat of a large bag of popcorn for a few more weeks aswell. im very pleased with myself that I seem to be sticking with it- not sure how this week will be though as I cant get to the gym at the mo as I have no energy at all.

    Todays food:
Breakfast- Golden syrup porridge and 1% milk
    Snacks- banana and yoghurt drink
Lunch- bag of frazzles (not good I know but I was peckish when I got in but didnt have the energy to make anything and fancy anything else anyway)
Dinner- a bit naughty but Im having a gammon steak with a little bit of mash and either peas or sweetcorn.

Natalie- thats so annoying about the tables, fingers crossed somewhere else will have some.

Wanchai- well done for doing well, once you start seeing results it will motivate you- its definately helping me.

Melanie- Im sure a few chocs wont do much harm- I was so tempted to send oh out today to get me one of those cadburys dairy milk bubbles- they look so good, but Ill use that as a treat when I really need chocolate!!

Mel- well done on getting to the gym- your doing so well at the mo.

Lovecake- im sure a little bit of shortbread wont do any harm as you had been so good for the rest of the day.

Im off to find some energy!!:rotfl:

You are so right Emma, I feel super motivated right now!!! I've stuck to it today as well, and am not even feeling hungry! The fact that I don't have to think about breakfast and dinner is helping - I can only have one proper meal a day, and I haven't even LOOKED at chocolate, biscuits or wine! I've been off booze for over a week now and I feel good - much more alert. I'm not a big drinker, but even the odd glass of wine on a work night can make me feel rough the next day.

Also, I think that the less I eat, the less I want to eat! Plus all the protein in the shakes is bound to be keeping me feeling full. :D I am SO determined to look good in my dress and not be a fat frumpy bride! Plus I want to outdo Natalie on WI day :rotfl:

Well done on your 2lbs off and your half stone! Wowza!!!! :T:T:T:T

Hope you feel better soon my lovely xxxx

Morning! I hope you feel better by the weekend Nat! I was pretty good last night - I made a fish curry with rice (and half a naan - opps...) but didn't snack in the evening, just had a cup of tea and one of those belvita biscuit thingys which is not too bad. Will try to be good today too.

2 crumpets and jam for breakfast and have brought some boiled new potatoes and some tuna to work for lunch. Will have sugar snap peas as usual for a snack and am planning on pasta for tea tonight.

I'm still not really exercising other than walking so I really need to figure something out there. I can't run as I have tendonitis in my foot and that also rules out any sort of aerobics or anything really that requires me to run/jump etc. jumping jacks and skipping are the worst! - that Shred DVD has my foot in agony, but I just try to modify the moves to suit my foot.

I might give swimming a go...

Hope everyone has a good day! :)
  • Nearly half term, and only 24 more Fridays to go! That countdown is really moving now and starting to get the jitters again.

Slipped up again last night after having a bad mood day (well bad mood week really) i had lush white bread toasted with a scrape of butter and raspberry jam. Worth every calorie though. I have resigned to the fact i may have to have a panel added as i reckon i need to shift another 1.5 stone to get in the dress comfortably. Thats the price for buying a dress in the Sale that is actually nearly 2 sizes to small. I have only lost 10lb since i brought it 5 months ago. I have lost and gained the same half stone for 3 months now

Wanchai - well done on staying strong and focused

Natalie - Good luck on the table hunt. Might you end up having to buy them and then sell them on again after? If you are covering them could you borrow from family, work colleagues, neighbours or a local park :rotfl:The odd wooden bench wouldn't be missed for one day!

Just getting the rumbles now after porridge for breakfast. I have homemade Butternut squash soup for lunch followed by a ton of fruit. H2B is off today so he is cooking me pea risotto with salmon for tea.
  • Hey, well im still off, slowly starting to feel slightly more human today so Im making sure I take it easy so I can build up some energy.

I had a reply from my dress alterations lady at long last today, saying she has just returned from holiday and couldnt get her internet to work for a few days- but I checked my emails and you would think if she had gone away for over a month she would do something (ie email customers to let them know) so I now need to work out how to reply to say Ive actually for someone else to do it.

I cant believe how quickly its coming round Melanie- 24 Fridays isnt long!!:D

Just received my invites and I love them, except the mistakes I have already mentioned. Just need to get together with my Mum to put them in their accompaning envelopes, seal them and put names on so I can deliver them. I want to do it now but expecct that my Mum will want to do it on the weekend.
