Well I've just got back from the gym so that's good but it was really hard going tonight for some reason. You know how sometimes its just such a slog? But i tjonl the carby dinner might have had something to do with that... Still I burned my calories. I'll make up for it with combat tomorrow!
Will reply properly when Im on the computer but thxnks lovecake for setting my momd at rest about the confetti haha xxThs signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it...0 -
Hi all
The peckishness sort of left me eventually! I managed to survive until dinner, which was OH's lasagne and wedges - and a small glass of semi-skimmed. Then I went for an hour's walk. I feel less bloated and very virtuous!!! Please let me be able to keep this up!!!!!!Sorry Mel, i think me and Wanchai are stressing people out with our confetti chat! Haha!We were saying this to the other Mel earlier too - both me and wanchai have similar ideas and really want some great pics of a big shower of confetti being thrown over us on our wedding days and in my experience hardly anyone bothers bringing their own these days. So I'm making confetti cones and my wee flower girl will hand them out to the guests - I think it will be a nice touch, but its not something you have to do
Yes, at weddings I go to, people don't bring confetti often - I think there's confusion these days about whether it's allowed. I so can't wait for the confetti bit!!!!
Natalie - your ring photo sounds fab too, can I nick your idea?
Silaqui - well done on going to the gym!!!7 Feb 2012: 10st7lbs14 Feb: 10st4.5lbs

Thanks for the confetti chat . . . . i have decided it might nice to get some petals and have them available on the bus that will take the guests to the registry office. This will be easier to organise than trying to get some one to hand them out at the location. Then we can use them for a nice photo that is black and white with just the petals in colour.
Meal plan update - I slipped off the slimming wagon a little last night. H2B was out and i blame him for leaving me in the house alone with an open box of Thorntons. I ate * whisper* 10 of these over the weekend alongside other naughties so i was trying to be saintly to at least maintain this week. :EasterBun Chocolates continued shouting at me all night so i ended up eating 2 whilst watching Biggest Loser!! Can not believe all the hard exercise they do on that program and the strict diets yet some of them only lost 2lb and 1 even maintained. That program has made me feel more normal with my weight losses. :T
So todays plan is:
B - 35g porridge and 200ml milk
S- pineapple
L- homemade veg and bean soup, wholemeal roll
S - fruit and a yogurt
D - Possibly Slimming World (SW) chips, covered in baked beans. (Nice and stodgy to fight off the evilness of cravings)
No syns or any extras today as need to be 100% until my meal planned for Valentines Day.0 -
Hi girls, I managed to have my spag bol and salad last night....but then had a cuppa and a shortbread so that was a bit naughty.
Today has been the same as yesterday so far - 2 crumpets and jam, 2 cups of tea with semi skimmed milk, minestrone soup and 1 slice of bread, 1 carton of orange.
Will have sugar snap peas and some fruit as a snack. Not sure about dinner yet...but will try to avoid the biscuits tonight!
I'm spending my lunch break looking for nice card to FINALLY print my save the dates! Haha!0 -

Afternoon all!!!
I weighed myself this morning (I know, I know) - 1lb off since yesterday!!!Now, I'm not under any illusions - I know that it's just fluid (or maybe just less actual food inside me) but it gave me a little boost. I have stuck to my 2 shakes today, am feeling SOOOO proud of myself. It's actually quite liberating not to have to think about what to eat during the working day (no lunch to bring in!) and I know that I can have a proper dinner with real food in the evening. I might have a little Greek yogurt before I leave work (am leaving quite late today) and then a smaller dinner.
Natalie (and Mel1) - thanks, I will 'borrow' it then! :Dlovecake and FutureCooper - you are both doing so well!!!!!!! Put any choc-related mishaps behind you and move on
pearly - that is a really lovely (and bargain) headpiece but it seems to be sold out when I look at it? xx7 Feb 2012: 10st7lbs14 Feb: 10st4.5lbs

Quickie - then I'll read the thread properly - (Oh Wanchai - did I say well done on losing 1lb yesterday? I don't think I remembered - d'oh! Congratulations!!)
I have just had an email from our chair place - they have enough chairs for us to hire (30), but they don't have any tables left for that weekend - bloody sods law. Now does that mean I can go back to no tables and people can just make do?! :rotfl: I am emailing a few other places to see what their costs are like - bloody typical as the table cloths arrived today (off ebay - so not like I can just return them cause I've changed my mind!)0
