:j:j:j How exciting, does it seem more real now? I know when we booked and paid the deposit it started to seem real! Then slowly each thing Ive done has made it seem more and more real! (and Im so excited, I cant wait to be Mrs H!!)
Natalie- Adding to my 2 reasons above one more reason: I am a size 12 but I was starting to feel my clothes getting tight so my aim is to just to be a fit and healthy size 12 who doesnt feel down cos size 12 stuff looks too tight.0 -
Hey guys, thought I would just pop in. My life has gone hectic because of Uni and the baby. Only four weeks to go until little one is due
I have something similar. My garter is half blue with Portsmouth on it (for my OH) and half red with Southampton in it for me.
Now that really MUST be love! Soton are doing well this year (apart from when they face yhe mighty Leicester City :P ) my oh supports a different team to me but luckily they are not local rivals... I don't think I would actually be with him if he was a forest or derby fan, couldn't bring myself to do it and my family would hace disoened me lol!
Apologies for spellings as I'm writing on my phone (you know I hate that!)but thought I would check.in, been to the gym yesterday and today so my healthy lifestyle thing is going well and bxck on track after the pizza blowout!
Wedding things... I paid some more of the honeymoon and wrote the cheque for tge cars. Does anyone else love the fact that my phone made a freudian slip and spelt 'honeymoon' as 'hornymoon' hahaha
Chat soon xxThs signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it...

Good idea Emma, let's list why we want to lose a bit of weight/tone up if we want to...
1) I don't want fat arms/back in my dress
2) I don't want to look like a beached whale in my wetsuit
3) I want my little silk slip thing I've got for the wedding night to fit without having a massive belly sticking out
4) I want to look amazing in my dress at my brother's weddingPinkPrincess83 wrote: »Im really hoping I can stick to being good, I really need to as 1- my dress needs to fit and 2- I dont want to look flabby in a bikini on honeymoon (well at least for the first week, we are all inclusive afterall!!:rotfl:)
My 'why i must lose weight' list is:
1- Best friends summer ball theme wedding in 4 months.
2 -Being seen in a swimming costume at Center Parcs in less than 3 months
3- Back fat!!!! (I have an image of it spilling out between the ribbon down the back, yuk)
4- Honeymoon + private balcony = naked sunbathing!!:rotfl:Does anyone else love the fact that my phone made a freudian slip and spelt 'honeymoon' as 'hornymoon' hahaha
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Hornymoon is a much better word! Love it, can i borrow that one? x
Good news about my seamstress. I sent H2B round to see if the shop is still there this morning and he went and spoke to her. She is having major renovation works done as they are not moving location now and she has not had a telephone line for over a week. However all messages were meant to be sent to her mobile line but this is not the case. So she has called me, with apologises, and booked me in for my first fitting :T , Saturday June 2nd. So ladies i have 4 whole months to lose at least a stone. 1lb a week is do-able, although i have an alcoholic hen weekend during that time. I feel all excited again now and very excited to finally get to see my dress at knee length.
Do you think a stone is enough to shift the 1/2 inch across my back that i need to lose?0 -
Hey everyone!
Well its only 3 and im shattered already! Oh left for work but then came back in as he had a flat tyre! So I have had t take him to car share and have a half day to pick him back up! We have been to the gym then took the car to the garage- turns out aswell as well as needing a new tyre to replace this rear flat tyre we need 2 front tyres aswell (at about £90 each:eek:) so its been an expensive day- and the place only had 2 tyres so weve had to leave ohs car there until tomorrow!
I did however have a very quick weigh in this morning and Ive lost another 1.5lbs this week so im pleased with that! (only another 2 lbs and ill be back to where I was when I got my dress)
Melanie- fab news about the seamstress, glad she had a genuine reason.0 -
Oh and I had a wedding dream last night!
I can remember being in my mums house and feeling all emotional then we all left for the ceremony and when we got there we walked in but I didnt walk in through the main 'bridal' entrance, and I walked straight to oh and then it turned put there was a registrar about and then we waited for a ages for one to come and then when someone did arrive they were from the local council I work for (which is a different county to where we are getting married and I was saying 'oh trust you to be able to rely on xxxx council and not our own!!) and the whole kinda impact entrance and excitement of saying the vows was lost cos there was a delay!!
I do remember feeling like I looked amazing though and was getting loads of compliments! (definately a dream!!:rotfl:)0 -
Well the last wedding dream I had was brill.
I can't remember the precise details now, but it just all went perfectly and I woke up from it feeling so happy and excited about getting married!! (Totally the opposite of my usual wedding 'dreams'!)FutureCooper wrote: »Good news about my seamstress. I feel all excited again now and very excited to finally get to see my dress at knee length. Snippy snip snip
That is great news about your seamstress - so glad you are all booked in, and hurrah for your husband to be going and giving her a friendly nudge!
Lol I'm exactly the same about wanting to see my dress tea length!! (Mine is someway between my knees and my feet... lol knowing me I'll have picked the completely wrong place for it to end bearing in mine everything Gok Wan says about skirts stopping at your widest part rotfl:... are you the same as me - really worried about it at the same time just in case it looks ridiculous and the whole dress is ruined?! I definitely want a tea-length dress - I can't have a garden party in a full gown... but part of me is really worried incase it will look like I'd hacked the bottom off and will look stupid.
And yep four months to loose a stone is very doable. I think they say 1 stone is normally 1 dress size. (I found when I lost 3 sizes when I lost near 4 stones going from a 14/16 to an 8/10)). So yes I would say 1 stone would easily be 0.5 inches.

It really is starting to feel real now..LESS THAN 6 MONTHS!!!
the diet is in full swing lol0 -
Whoops- I went upstairs a while ago to see if my phone would let me log into my fitness app (bad signal downstairs) and got into bed as I was cold and despite oh warning me to get up or I would doze off Ive only just wokem up from a lovely nap! Think ill regret that one!
Oh and part of my dream last night was that I realised I hadnt spoken with the caterers so was just hoping they would do what we wanted and for the correct numbers!!0
