Oh no Mel2 - that's not good - BUT at least you know regardless of the bolero if you are desperate you have a back up for the alterations. Perhaps we could help source a back up bolero just incase? It might not match your dress perfectly as your planned one would but if needs must
Well I've just got back from Yoga to an empty house. (Warning - rant alert). Now this !!!!es me off. He won't come home till gone 8 - I would hesitate closer to 8:30. Now if I wait till then to make tea it'll be around 9:30 that we actually eat - which is way too late when a) I'm hungry and b) I'm *trying* to lose weight. The longer I get hungry for and the longer I have to wait the more I get fed up, can't be arsed to cook, and want a pizza. But by the same token I begrudge doing tea on my own. It's different if he's had a long day at work. But he got home at 5:40 (as I was going out to Yoga) and has spent since then round his mums - 2 hrs!! (Such a mummy's boy!). ARGH someone remind me why I want to marry him :rotfl: I so want a house husband to do all the cooking for me!0 -
Hey guys, thought I would just pop in. My life has gone hectic because of Uni and the baby. Only four weeks to go until little one is due :eek:FutureCooper wrote: »I have just made a 'garter' decision!!
Background information is that H2B is a huge Man Utd fan and so are all his family . . . i am not that keen to be honest and i have been brought up on Liverpool. Whilst i don't really follow football i do like to rib H2B, just because i can!!! So my decision is i am going to have a garter and put a Man Utd badge on it so on the day i'll flash him my new allegiance. It will mean a lot to him and make his family laugh. He always jokes that if i really love him i would love United too. So i am now on the lookout for a badge . . .
I have something similar. My garter is half blue with Portsmouth on it (for my OH) and half red with Southampton in it for me.0 -
Melanie- I would definately carry on looking around, asking for recommendations as my status worked for me!!:)
Natalie- I think if you are likely to want to then be naughty foodwise I would get on and cook dinner this time- but I would tell him in future as he isnt supporting you/ helping you in your mission to lose weight that in future you will just get on and do your own dinner and he can sort his own out!!:p
Well Im feeling a bit smug with myself at how I managed to eat out and resisted chips and pudding (this for me is highly unusual!!) I had chicken breast, jacket potato and a bit of salad!:D0 -

Cue smug mode...
Well I have not only done my own tea (and his - I know I know - lol he still isn't back)... but I have also done my veg for my lunch tomorrow (with left over steak stew from the freezer), veg for tomorrow's tea for both of us (again - I know I know), and the veg for Thursday's lunch. In about 15 mins it's all going to be ready - :rotfl: when do I text him to tell him it's ready? Lol about 10 mins after so it's all burnt *cackles*. I'm such a softie really. So that is another good day from me today and I will have a good day tomorrow
Raaaaaaaaaaar!

Well done on remaining on track and not giving in to pizza! And well done for getting the veg all sorted aswell! I would text him so he comes in just to see the last bit of your perfectly cooked dinner being eaten- and then so his will be overcooked in the oven- just so he realises yours is tasty and his isnt! (but as youve gone to the effort of cooking his he will feel he has to eat it!!:D)0

Im thinking I may go to bed soon- that way I wont give in to temptation and have a chocolate biscuit!:D
I was pleased with myself yesterday- I know i have havent lost loads of weight but when we went out I wore a straight knitted dress that I havent worn for ages cos it clung wrong my belly and wasnt flattering- well it was much looser round my stomach so I reckon the toning at the gym must be helping! Im really hoping I can stick to being good, I really need to as 1- my dress needs to fit and 2- I dont want to look flabby in a bikini on honeymoon (well at least for the first week, we are all inclusive afterall!!:rotfl:)0 -
Good idea Emma, let's list why we want to lose a bit of weight/tone up if we want to...
1) I don't want fat arms/back in my dress
2) I don't want to look like a beached whale in my wetsuit
3) I want my little silk slip thing I've got for the wedding night to fit without having a massive belly sticking out
4) I want to look amazing in my dress at my brother's wedding0 -
I have officially paid my first deposit LOL the venue is BOOKED0
