*whispers* the real reason I want to get them out soon is because I'm just far too impatient to wait any longer and I don't want my brother to get his out before ours!

    How's everyone's days gone - weight loss wise? (Note - I didn't say the D word).
I've had a hard day - didn't finish till 6 then got some crappy news in the post when I got home.. but I haven't let it beat me. I *WILL* be a slim bride!! I've had a very good day foodwise. :) So pleased that we did tonight's veggies last night so all that was left to do when I got home was to bung some chicken on. :) Have got tomorrow's lunch sorted too. *smug mode* lol. Haven't done any exercise - but am tackling the food first - the exercise can follow. Tomorrow is officially weigh in day for me. Will let you all know how that goes. :)
  • Good news on the slide front Natalie. Shame about the manky post though! :(
Another good day foodwise for me. I am following SW but also popping details into FitnessPal just to keep tabs on calories. We will all be slim brides!!

I am still making my invites and will be sending out in April. I got an invite last week for a June wedding because it's the Jubilee weekend. Pleased it gives us time to book the hotel and save for an outfit!

    I didn't do great today foodwise :(

    *ashamed*

But I'll bite bullet and WI tomorrow anyway xx

Good morning ladies (and gentlemen - hey grooms wake up!! Come back and chat!!)
Well I have weighed myself this morning, I have 18lbs to lose. :) That is doable so I'm happy - I just have to knuckle down and get on with it.

:D Hurrah pay day - I will be paying off another £250 off our honeymoon - that leaves just £250 left to pay next month then it's all booked!! (Then just got to pay for the diving, the diving insurance, and the extra baggage). :T

Extra baggage!:rotfl: I presume you mean for the diving kit but i have visions of myself getting to check-in and apologising for being overweight but its ok as i have paid for the extra baggage!!

I am having an 'Emma' issue i think! I have tried calling the bridal shop where i purchased my dress to discuss alteration dates for my dress and BM's. The phone just goes to answerphone. I have called 4 working days in a row now. I left my number but they have not called back. When i brought my dress i had to bring it home as they were possibly having to move premises due to work being carried out on an adjoining building but you think if they didn't take their telephone number the answerphone would say so. Is it just abox standard BT message also. Hmmmmm . . . . now what? Looks like i might have to drive over to the town one evening and 'see' if they are still there. However part of me thinks if they are still in the building then its just rude not to acknowledge my call and i should take my business elsewhere.

End of rant! Another month ticked off ladies, only 5 to go :T
  • Melanie- I was thinking 'whats an Emma issue'!! Oh its such a pain isnt it. I would be tempted to look for someone else to do the alterations.

Well done on the weightloss Natalie- Im sure now youve loss a few lbs it will put you back on track.

Well Im not sure how well I will have done this week, I have been really good this week apart from having a lamb biriani last night!! (whoops!!). And im off to a Harvester for dinner tonight, but they give you all the cals so im going to be good and have something healthy! I need to as its weigh in tomorrow morning!

and lol yep - the diving equipment but we need to finish getting it so I know how big a bag we need. :)

Nothing weddingy here to report - very boring indeed! :) (I'm actually feeling very smug that I haven't posted the invites yet lol).

    What's an Emma issue? :rotfl:

Well done on your restraint in not posting your invites MrsDrink lol!

1 Feb tomorrow, where *is* the time going???? I don't feel like I've done enough yet at all...

An 'Emma' is because the seamstress is ignoring me and not responding to emails or calls!!

I have rang a local company but she will alter it but cant make the bolero. So that's no good :(
