Home made burgers are not that bad depending obviously on the quality of the mince you used
I have approx 160g of mince a night three or so times a week and still manage to lose 1-1.5lbs a week... well I do when I'm eating sensibly everything else.

Hi all
I bit the bullet and stood on the scales... 145.6lbs. That's 1lb on over Christmas. Bit disappointed as I thought I ate well, but the lack of exercise didn't help, I guess. Back on track and exercising from tomorrow!
Natalie - you have inspired me, well done!!!! Have you got a running buddy? I could do with one of those

I am very lucky (I guess lol) MrD comes running with me. We're doing the Lincoln 10K together which will be nice. The only problem is at 5ft2.5 compared to his 6ft1 his legs are a lot longer than mine so I do struggle to keep up with him when I begin to tire. Although he is a star he will slow down so I can catch up to him.
And 1lb on over Christmas really is not bad at all. That will come off in no time!!0 -

Lucky you! My OH is not into exercise and neither are my friends. One of them has offered to come walking with me but I'm not going to rely on her iykwim. I really need to have the motivation to go even when nobody else is. I'm going to do my bootcamp and PT sessions as well so that should spur me on.
I'm feeling veryabout going back to work. I hate my job! Am I the only one feeling like this? Xx

I was just put on the spot to invite someone all day rather than just evening, oh wasnt round and I didnt know what to say. Im going to go through the guestlist with oh properly ober the next few days and then we can see if we have a space for another all day guest. (im calm now:))0 -

Aww Wanchai - what do you do? What makes it so crap?
I am really lucky in that I actually do love my job. There are times when I get stressed (you just have to look at my eczema to see that) but I wouldn't change it for the world. Unfortunately though that is out of my control - we should find out in the coming months what is going to happen to the service whether there will still be one or not. Currently I have a job till Easter. If the 28th Feb comes and goes without a letter I will have a job till September. But I do love my job.
But that doesn't mean I'm not sad about going back lol. I always feel sad at the end of a holiday - especially if MrD has had time off with me. It has been lovely this Christmas the two of us being at home.The next time we'll have a week off together will be.... oh my god... it'll be on our Honeymoon!! Eeeek :T:T:j:j

The best thing I did for exercise was get a dog lol
I realise that it doesn't work for everyone, but it gets me out 3 times a day, before work after work and at lunchtime, and on a weekend, we go out as a family with the dog...
Course, it's not helping at the moment, we're up to nearly a stone and a half gained in just over 4 weeks *sob*
Good news is, the xmas crap has all gone, so whilst I still can't exercise beyond walking to the toilet and back every few hours, I CAN moderate what goes in my mouth!!!!!! and that IS going to start tomorrow (i finished off the nuts and mince pie today!)
