You could always phone round some of the stores and if one futher away has them they might send them over to your nearest store for you? Then you could get a lift/bus/train knowing they would be in stock I got mine in the london branch and they had quite a few sizes, could be a good place to start?0 -
Hello everyone:)
I have read back but sorry i have forgotten everything i was going to say!
Well my big sister is now a married woman. It was a lovely day, unfortunatley we didn't manage to get any outside pics but even so it was still prefect. The only thing is i'm getting my flowers from the same florist and with the mens buttonshole the petals kept falling off, OH's only lasted until after the food he had about 5petals left. My stepdads went a bit sad, my brothers petals also were coming off. My mum coursage magnet wasn't great. My nans pin kept coming off, in the end she lost it. So, i'm not happy with the flowers and gonna ring them up and tell him and maybe see about getting my deposit back.
Happy New Year
Oh still No baby!!0 -

Oh still No baby!!I was thinking earlier we hadn't had any update on here or FB and whether things had started moving!!
But how great that you were able to enjoy your sisters wedding without being called away!
(Does she realise that we all want to see photos!!) Shame about her buttonholes - definitely speak to the florist - at least give them a chance to put things right and reassure you - if not I'd be tempted to cancel even if I wouldn't get the deposit back (depending on how big a deposit lol) cause you wouldn't want the same thing happening again. What flowers had your sister requested? Where they seasonal flowers? The only reassurance I could see them providing is if your sister requested out of season and therefore delicate flowers where as you're getting married in the middle of Summer where there should be more fresher flowers. If that makes sense?
Right well in case I don't write on here later tonight - I will see you all tomorrow morning to celebrate it being OUR YEAR!!
I hope 2012 brings us all everything we could ever wish for and more!!0 -
I got my ruby rainbow club ones in john lewis half price. So comfortable! You should buy the ones you like! Can always return if they aren't right!
I forgot to say - hurrah for the bargains!!And even better that they are super comfy!! I'm so tempted to order a pair of Rainbow Club shoes to just try on - and then send them back lol.
How is the rest of your wedding planning going? Feels like ages since you updated us0 -

It was Oxford st about 2-3 weeks ago so not long really. If you are ordering them from another store they wouldn't be putting them out for general sale until you had been i wouldn't think so should be ok if they'll do it, can always check on the phone they will reserve until you've been in.hope you get them!
Planning is getting there! Still have photographer and music to sort but they are next on list using bank hols to sort those this week. Invites, bridesmaid dress but not flowergirls sorted and just waiting on my dress which feels like it's taking forever! Flowers I think are sorted too just need to confirm0 -
Glad I'm not the only one who is eager for their dress to hurry up being made!!
I cannot wait to see it again, and I can't wait to try on loads of shoes and necklaces with it!!
I have decided to not wear a flower in my hair as I was going to but instead a haircomb - taking a section of hair over to one side and back behind my ear. The rest of my hair down. Kinda similar to how I usually have it but not usually taking so much over to one side. This way I won't have to stress about getting it right on the day. It'll be nice and quick to do - give me more time for everything else! But that means I've got to find either a nice simple fairly plain haircomb or a couple of nice hair slides.

Oh and I think I am going to put a little message in our local paper for our wedding day's paper. I will then buy it the morning of the wedding, then a year later I will present it to MrD
(He won't read it - we don't get the local rag).

Well I've ordered him the belt in the next size up - will return one of them when it comes.
Haven't got anything weddingy to do now. Am waiting on my florist tape coming so I can finish the buttonholes. But then after that it's a case of waiting till half term when I can post our invites
Taking the tree down today - normally do it on Boxing day - but I've kept it up for longer for Bun to enjoy sitting under it and eating it lol. If I could keep it up all year round for him I would lol. Will also finally get rid of all the wrapping paper - it's been in a giant pile that Bun's been having fun playing with but it's a right mess!
What is everyone's plans for the rest of the holiday? Just two more days (including today) to go.0
