Fab day all round Emma!!
When will we get to see photos of this elusive tiara?0 -
Yay!!!!!!!
Oh yes, that hooker dress was awful! Lol! But he got everything else right
Silaqui - we hope to buy a house after we get married too. It'll give me a new focus/obsession! :rotfl:
Definitely lol - we are currently living with my parents to maximise savings and kind of them as it is, I am desperate to be out of here!Lol central to all of us I'm guessing is going to probably be somewhere like Birmingham - tends to have good rail links to everywhere. But I can't remember where we're all from - I know LauraL's put up our locations for those who shared it.
Birmingham is probably a good idea, I'm up for that!
Well I have just been a very naughty girl and spend about £400 on my debenhams card online on 6 pairs of possible wedding shoes (3 pairs, in 2 sizes!) and some potential wedding underwear! Obviously most of it will be returned but I was a bit  when I was paying lol! I did get 10% extra of the sale price!
I've also paid the first 28.88 off the honeymoon because it wasn't a round number and it was bugging me lol :rotfl: I'm a bit unsure though, whether to pay off a little bit each month directly to the holiday, or whether to keep putting it in savings and then pay it all off when it's due. My thinking is because so many firms are going bust - I paid the deposit on the CC so I would be protected anyway but I'm pretty sure its easier to have not paid the money yet than it is to claim it back! Am I being overly sensible there lol?
Also - if anyone is emailing the hotel for sneaky upgradeswill you be emailing as yourself and just being cheeky? Or is it really naughty of me to pretend to be my mum asking them to make it special for us lol

Haha- when I finally set up a photo account! Oh and it may have to wait until I have a hair trial now as I left it as mil2bs- mainly so I dont keep wearing it!!:rotfl:0

Mel- I think I would be tempted to email and pretend to be your mum!! We havent emailed or anything because they asked us when we booked it in thomas cook whether we were going away for a special occasion, and they asked if either of us had a birthday while we were away (it was then after a few seconds delay we realised it was ohs birthday!!:rotfl:)
Oh what shoes have you got?0 -
Lol glad I'm not the only one thinking that! I think I would feel a bit cheeky if I emailed and basically said "It's my honeymoon, gimme stuff!" but a kindly relative saying the same thing is fine haha.
Well after the trouble I'm having finding a pair of real shoes (damn you KG Haisleys for being the wrong colour) I've decided to try and find a pair of back up shoes that will do if I can't find anything else. I figured if I do find others, brand new wedding shoes should sell well on ebay!
I got these, these and these.
I tried these and these on in the shop early but they didn't fit properly
You should well set up a photo account

They are all lovely but the first ones are definately my fave.
Mel- with your honeymoon Im sure I read if you book it though a company that is ATOL protected and have booked it as a package (not hotel and flights seperately) that you would get your money back if they went bust, please dont quote me on this but its worth researching.0 -
I agree - it would sound better coming from a kind relative emailing them
I might get MrD's mum onto this - actually get her to do it I mean rather than just me pretending to be her or my mum.
I'm paying off £250 a month of our honeymoon - got £500 left to pay. Mainly because we don't have a wedding savings account and if it stayed in our account it'd only get spent on something else. This way I know the honeymoon will be paid for.I've just got my fingers crossed that Thomas Cook don't go under before we've gone. (lol don't mind if we get stuck out there lol). Actually I hope they don't go under while any of us on here have holidays to go on!!
Ha I'm glad I'm not the only one who buys multiple pairs of shoes!! I'm *this* close to ordering some Else Chianti shoes so I have them here to take to try on with my dress. Actually I think I might do that - when I get a date from the bridal shop to go to my first dress fitting - ordering a pair and then if they don't go I can send them backMel - I think my fave from those is shoe number 2 lol but it would depend on your dress

That's my understanding as well. I know Thomas Cook did send emails out basically saying "book with confidence cause we're ATOL registered".0 -
ARGH! I've made a mistake of looking at rainbow clubs website again and they have new shoes on from when I last looked... now really liking these - and they are even more bloody expensive lol. http://www.rainbowclub.co.uk/collection.htm?brand=Rainbow%20Club&productID=305&Accessories=0&search=1&type=2&size=5&heel=6&price=10
