We're going to OH's brother and SIL for NYE, I love their company so it will be a lovely chilled out evening with plenty of wine and craic I'm not that into NYE, it's the end of Christmas

Im not a huge one for New Years, its all a hype. I just like using it as an excuse to go round friends,have a few drinks and just chill.

I know exactly what I want oh to wear, but have decided to just let him get on and get what he wants- as long as he doesnt go for something for a laugh- I have the kind of oh who would turn up in top hat, tails and a cane!! (or like Willy Wonka!!:rotfl:). He still says he is wearing all black, but as Ive said before as long as he turns up and is looking fairly sensible he can do what he wants!! Im hoping my step dad will steer him in the right direction- and not his best man who I dread to think what he would pick!!

My plans for NYE is to be high on Gas and Air:rotfl:! Obv we have nothing planned but even if it wasn't for baby we wouldn't have anything planned as we don't really do NY. So will prob just be a nice dinner/takeaway and TV!

It was good. I thought he did really well- apart from that dress!! I loved the reception, thought it looked fab.

And 2012- hmmm what plans do I have?? Well my work is being outsourced November time! what else??

Mel - yep the P20 is the stuff you put on once a day. I wore it in Disneyland when it was hot and didn't burn, and I wore it in Tenerife when we were diving. But then on neither time did I spend hours laid in full sun light so can't comment on that. It did well though being rubbed about by the wetsuit and being soaked in water for an hour or so.

Mmm my plans for 2012? Well lol as Emma says - to get married. In March I'm running my first 10K. In October I want to go back to Tenerife and do the next level of dive certificate. Job wise - well we don't know what the future of our service is (council cuts) so I may look for a new job (I think I fancy trying Year 2 out). That's it really. Well all I can think of for now.

I'm sat here looking at belts and cufflinks - want to get them in the sales!

Oh Im going to see my oldest sister tomorrow so will be taking my flower girl dress- just to make sure she has some growing space still in it, Im sure there will be as its age 4 and shes a dinky 3 and a half. I also want to check it looks ok colour wise on her.

Thats what I'm after though really, I'm not a sunbather, it'll be to keep me protected whilst wandering round places and swimming because I burn so easily that I normally have to stop and reapply suncream every ten minutes! Sounds like exactly what I need!

My plan for 2012 is to save as hard as I possibly can because shortly after the wedding I want to be househunting and out of here by next Christmas!

Oh yes, that hooker dress was awful! Lol! But he got everything else right

So some more bargains. Got MrD some plain square silver cufflinks from T M Lewin for £15.60 (reduced from £39) plus £3.95 postage PLUS through quidco I got 10% cashback (£17.99 all in). John Lewis sell a similar one for £19.50 and the best I can get off quidco there is free postage! Every penny counts!

My other bargain is I've ordered MrD a plain black belt (with a black buckle). It was £18 (reduced from £20). With a code off MSE I got a further 10% off, and through quidco I got free delivery and a further 5% cash back. (£15.39 all in).

I do love hunting a bargain.

Oh and I forgot to say earlier - I'm definitely up for meeting up in August!! It'll have to be after the 12th August though for me. (Honeymooning until the 2nd, visiting my Grandma's grave weekend 4th/5th August, getting my hair done again week 6th-10th, then going to my brother's wedding 11th-12th).

It'll be nice to have something to look forward to after the wedding!
