    1. Ok- ill get this first whisper done first!! im too scared to weigh myself!! I dread to think what the scales will say!!
Ok so now thats over and done with- well done MrD on getting a lovely suit- and such a bargain aswell. And thats great that the flower goes perfectly aswell!!

LauraL- have a lovely day tomorrow- Im sure we can all do a sunshine dance for your sister!!:D. I will probbaly give that wedding fair a miss, I think i have my first aid requalification that day and the one before (I really need to check the dates, its either 10th and 11th or 11th and 12th), so if its the 12th I will want to go home and chill!!

Im slightly worried at how trusting I am being with oh and his suit! We walked passed a suit shop today and I pointed out what I liked and he said he wants a longer jacket! Im hoping when he tries it on he will realise Im right!!:rotfl:

I am very glad that MrD didn't come back with top and tails. Lol he's tall (6ft1) and tails would have just looked stupid lol. I've tried finding his suit online to show you all but it's not on greenwood's website - all their £200 fixed suits are £100+ so he really did get a bargain!! :D

I'm so bored... I'm sat watching Little Shop Of Horrors!!

I was so chuffed- I hadnt asked for one as I knew I was at the top of my budget but oh knew I really wanted one! Will be taking it on honeymoon with me to read while lounging round the pool!! No baby plans for a few years yet for us so mine will get a lot of use!!:rotfl:

Have you had any niggles yet Laura?

Yay for Kindles! I got mine just before last christmas and I absolutely love it, I use it everyday so it's well worth what I paid for it!

I had a productive day when it comes to the wedding. I brought all my bridesmaid dresses

    http://www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10001_10001_008010520360_-1?breadcrumb=Home%7ESale%7EWomen%7EOccasion+%26amp%3B+evening+wear

Plus an extra 25% off as my Dad works there. I also ordered the invites that I have mentioned previously. xx

Those are lovely dresses Tracey :) bargain with the extra money off!

The boy's done good. :) He came home all smiley and happy, said he actually really liked his suit. It's a lightish charcoal grey - I do really like him in dark grey. :) And he's got a really nice tie. Plus it was a bargain!! The suit was £75 down from £200!! The tie was £8, and his alterations are £9 (he needs the trousers taking up slightly). All he needs is a shirt - which we can get using the M&S gift card. :D

So I'm now thinking he needs a red/burgundy buttonhole (if he had a black suit I said he'd need a white one) - so yaaay I have something weddingy to do again. :D

Cannot wait to see him waiting for me at the end of the aisle!! :D

Hooray! Glad that's been sorted out! OH has been to a place and tried a suit on, it looked good but he's not actually been and paid a deposit yet. He's adamant that he wants his dad and brother in matching suits but I think that will look a bit silly as the rest of the wedding is quite informal, how can I talk him out of it :rotfl: part of me feels really bad for suggesting it because it's his day too!

Well I have something very weddingy to tell you all - I just booked a honeymoon! :j

7 nights bed and breakfast in a 4 star hotel in Vilamoura, Portugal. Came to just over £750 including flights. So that's a big FU to the cow in the holiday hypermarket who looked down her nose at me and told me I wouldn't get anything decent in July for under 2 grand!

It looks nice and the tripadvisor reviews are reasonable so that's enough for me! Is anyone brave enough to ring the hotel for me and tell them it's a honeymoon and see if they upgrade us lol :D

The bargain price also keeps the entire wedding (including food, venues, cars, photos, clothes, decorations, honeymoon, and £700 spending money) at under £4500. :money: I'm pretty chuffed with that! (although I'll probably spend about a grand on suncream lol)

Does anyone have any plans for the new year? xx

I highly recommend getting some P20 - best suncream I've ever used - and while it's a high initial lay out you use so much less of it compared to usual suncream it is MSE. The cheapest I found was on Amazon - and it was cheaper to get two smaller bottles than one bigger one.

Hurrah at booking your honeymoon - and wow what a bargain!! :D I bet you can't stop grinning!! And it looks a really lovely place as well!! We've never been to portugal but have heard the diving is supposed to be ok so I'm sure we'll head there at some point. Lol you'll have to give us advice after you've been :D

:( Unfortunately our honeymoon is going to be costing near the same as our whole wedding lol. Diving is an expensive hobby lol.

Lol it's a nightmare isn't it - finding the balance between getting your own way and letting him feel like he's having a bit of a say. Actually I'm really pleased MrD went with the colour grey he did rather than black - it's much less formal which suits us perfectly :) Lol maybe all this time with me talking weddings has been rubbing off on him lol. :)

New Years Eve is a non-event in our household. I'm all for Christmas - lots of excitement but NYE is just another day for me. Although I was sat here pondering Resolutions - I thought "To get married" lol. :D

    Thanks wanchai :)

Natalie, is the P20 stuff the one you only apply once? I'll have to look it up, I never generally go anywhere sunny enough to need much (haven't been on a beach holiday since I was a kid!) so recommendations are handy, thanks - I will keep an eye out for any diving info for you!

I still reckon we should all have a meet up somewhere in August time to compare holiday photos lol.

So glad I'm not the only one who doesn't do New Years - I hate the hype around it lol, we never do anything! We'll be driving up to Sunderland early on the 1st so can't really do much anyway this year.

    xx

  • :j:j on booking your honeymoon, and what fab price. You should email them- we get a massage and unlimited visits to the various a la cartes at our hotel, and its also ohs birthday while we are away so are hoping for something nice for that aswell!!:rotfl:

Natalie, my oh is 5ft 8 and Im worried a longer jacket will swamp him!! Oh started to watch little shop of horrors but it was awful, so I watched the New York DTTB instead!

New Year we are going round out friends- and its within walking distance so thats good (well I may drive there and then walk home if its raining!!)- what about everyone else! I know what Ill be saying as the clock chimes though- and I bet I wont be the only one on this board!!!:D
