Good morning everyone :) Well it's a good day today in our household - lol why I hear you cry? Cause MrD's mum is taking him suit shopping today!! Hurrah!! There first stop is Greenwoods in town. MrD is very hopeful that he finds a suit he likes in there - that way he won't be dragged to either Grimsby or Lincoln lol. The good thing about Greenwoods is they would be able to do the alterations for him. (He will struggle to find a jacket to fit both the broadness of his shoulders, the length of his arms, and the skinniness of his waist/chest so he'll definitely need alterations).

Day 1 of 2012 dieting starts here. :D It is just over 13 weeks till I break up for Easter (lol don't you love the count down nature of being a teacher). By then I aim to be at target - or if not as close to it as possible. Tomorrow is my weigh in day - lol there is no way on earth I will manage a STS this week as this morning I am 8.5lbs above what I was last Friday!! Lol I have literally just eaten and eaten and eaten!! But now there is no big events between now and our wedding so it's all eyes on the dress now. (Well there is my Granddad's birthday lunch, and my mum's 60th birthday tea, but other than that nothing).

So although 2012 isn't here officially it is in our house :D
P.S. Training for the Lincoln 10K starts on Sunday!

Are you reading this Wanchai? Lol ;)
Had a text off MrD's mum just before 12 saying they'd already got a suit!! That is within an hour of going!! Ha!! Now that's how you do it Wanchai! Pmsl!

Although the bridezilla in me is worried that he's settled on the first one he tried on cause it was easier than his mum dragging him round loads of places! God hope it's not brown (have loads of photos of him as a little boy wearing a brown dated suit to various family weddings) :rotfl:. They have gone off for lunch :) I hope he gave his mum her day - if that makes sense, cause my mum had her day with me when we went dress shopping.

The boy's done good. :) He came home all smiley and happy, said he actually really liked his suit. It's a lightish charcoal grey - I do really like him in dark grey. :) And he's got a really nice tie. Plus it was a bargain!! The suit was £75 down from £200!! The tie was £8, and his alterations are £9 (he needs the trousers taking up slightly). All he needs is a shirt - which we can get using the M&S gift card. :D

So I'm now thinking he needs a red/burgundy buttonhole (if he had a black suit I said he'd need a white one) - so yaaay I have something weddingy to do again. :D

Cannot wait to see him waiting for me at the end of the aisle!! :D

Well it's quiet on here!! :D I have just ordered some green floral tape so I can finish off the buttonholes. Burgundy for MrD (the flower looks so good against his suit), white for his dad, my granddad, his mum and my mum. :D

Have ordered MrD a shirt - got it via quidco too, fingers crossed it comes, he likes it and it fits. Only problem is it will need cufflinks - another added expense lol. I've been looking - I don't think I'll get him "groom" cufflinks cause he wouldn't then be able to wear them at my brother's wedding lol (thinking MSE here). I may get him either boring plain ones, or I'm thinking either motorbike ones or if they do them, Mac 'apple' ones. :D

How exciting!!! Brilliant news and another bargain. Its on my New Year list of things to do . . . . along with getting back on the diet tank. I haven't dared get on the scales because my jeans told me this morning that i have put some weight on! (yes, i have talking jeans!!!)

I have had such a lovely Christmas break that i haven't really been in wedding planning mode. We have friends around this afternoon with their toddlers and i'm cooking for us all, i'm really nervous to be honest as i hate cooking for others, and then again tomorrow my oldest friend is coming for dinner so the diet is out the window. Although i am serving a huge green side salad so i'm half way there!! :rotfl:
