Silaqui - there must be a happy medium with some mums! :D I just get a bit upset that I'm only taking a year to plan my wedding and won't get to have all this excitement again... and nobody except you lovely ladies seems to want to share it with me. Oh well.

Btw, you are NOT being at all bridezilla about the church flowers! :)

Okay forgot to come and feedback on the cheesecake. Well it looked amazing and tasted really good!!
    6574180167_841f481fec.jpg

:D But :( lol the consistency was just wrong - the meringue didn't work. In the fridge as it set, the meringue turned into mush/liquid so it was more like blamanche than cheesecake.

BUT I was very spoilt - I was given a kenwood mixer yesterday - sooooooooo happy :D So I'm going to have another go at making it. :D Wish me luck!!

(I am slightly bridezillary - MrD's mum has made a cheesecake for Christmas - a chocolate one, so not the same flavour - but all the talk has been about how wonderful her cheesecake was/is... I want the fame and glory not her!! :rotfl:)

So come on then girlies what did Santa bring you this year?

    :D I'll start.
I've already said I've got a Kenwood Mixer - love it - was so nice to use to make my cheesecake. (Fingers crossed it sets better this time).
I got a dive computer - basically so I know how deep and how long I've been diving for.
Dive boots. These will protect my feet when entering/exiting the sea on a rough beach.
Some Mac makeup - the lipstick will be worn for the wedding. The eye shadow may not be. (Although I do love it).
    A dust buster.
A glass candle vase/holder and candle (Really lovely - it's sat next to the TV).
New PJs (lol slightly too big)
A blanket thing with arms (actually really love it - lol put it on last night and nearly fell asleep on the sofa!)
A photo of MrD and I on canvas from when we were at Disneyland Paris (actually not a bad photo lol)
Some bath stuff (lol we don't have a bath).
A £40 M&S gift card - think we'll use that on a shirt for MrD for the wedding :D (I did look to see if M&S stock attachments for my Kenwood - lol I really want the ice cream maker attachment lol).
A book on the Red Sea reefs, and two fish identification cards
A dive slate to write messages on when we're underwater.

I *think* that is everyone. I was very very very spoilt. :D
