I got my ruby rainbow club ones in john lewis half price. So comfortable! You should buy the ones you like! Can always return if they aren't right!
  • Melanie- cant you get a swatch once you have your dress altered?

I love all the shoes youve all linked. Im trying not to look at shoes too much though or ill end up with 10 perfect pairs on the day!!:rotfl:

Well Ive emailed my photographer to arrange meeting up in the new year (he had emailed me as he kept getting dodgy emails from me- along with Natalie) so I replied apologising and asking how far in advance he usually meets up to discuss what photos we want etc. While I was on a roll I also emailed my dj to see when he wanted the deposit.

    Fab news Emma!! :D

Well MrD's belt has arrived - but it may be too small - even though I got him a size bigger than he takes in waist size if that makes sense. He's promised to try his trousers on later and try it on properly then. But it is a really nice belt so I'm hoping if it doesn't fit they still have the size up in stock.

My printer labels have arrived so this afternoon I think I may have a play with addressing some of our invites. :D
  • I just hope they reply in the next few days or ill get all impatient!!:rotfl:(new year/ bank holidays- really arent an excuse!!:rotfl:)

Natalie- if you get any more dodgy emails from me can u let me know- im really hoping its sorted now.

Oh fingers crossed the belt will fit- have you checked yet to see if they have the next size up?

I have decided im not sorting out any more invites until Im going to send them out, I think I will have to redo best mans to invite his girlfriend aswell (we met her over christmas and she seems really nice) and I dont want to jinx anymore relationships!- the couple who split up are now trying to sort things out so hopefully I wont have to redo that one!! I havent even thought about envelopes!!

Wil do :) I'll pm you on here and leave you a message on FB so either way you will hear. :)

Nope haven't checked the belt yet. I'm still hopeful it'll be alright on trousers rather than on jeans and a thick jumper!

Right I'm off to go have a play with the invites' envelopes - will take a photo and share :T

:D I have addressed all by 2 of my invites (need addresses/check who is invited), and 5 of MrD's (his work colleagues/friends - need to check if he wants to invite them or not). They are looking really good. I went with the design I'd put on here before - names in burgundy in the top left hand corner going around the bend, and addresses in black in the bottom right hand corner. While I was at it I also addresses all our thank you cards (which will be sent to everyone who just turns up/sends their best wishes). Have had a good productive weddingy day lol. Now just to sit on them till Feb half term when I will post them lol, although I really want to send them out now!! As I was printing the addresses out I was thinking how happy I am with them, and that there isn't anything I would honestly change :) Lol it then lead me to wonder what my Brother's invites will be like :rotfl: clearly they won't be as good as ours. :)
  • Tried on Debut by Debenhams shoes today. They were lovely but I'm I think the colours wrong but going to order them and the John Lewis ones and try them with the dress. They are a bargain!!

Just ordered a big Indian take away for H2B, daughter and me. Having a night in with food, gin and tonic and a couple of films! Exciting life i lead.

Melanie - Yaaaaay at ordering the JL shoes and the purple ones :) lol who would have thought finding a pair of shoes would be so hard.

I have decided I'm going to follow Mel's example - as soon as I know my dress is ready I am going to buy loads of shoes - take them to the shop with me and try them all on :) Have pre-warned MrD that for that month the credit card will take a battering lol.

Melanie - we never do much at New Year - we're sat watching a documentary on the Isle of Man TT. I'e made us a low fat health but blow your socks off vindaloo for tea. But other than that nothing planned.
