Also - if anyone is emailing the hotel for sneaky upgrades :p will you be emailing as yourself and just being cheeky? Or is it really naughty of me to pretend to be my mum asking them to make it special for us lol

    xx

    Fab idea lol!!!! :rotfl:

Thanks for the weather advice ladies :)

Emma - whoop, your accessories are coming together nicely! :D

Silaqui - I love the first pair of shoes too, they are lush :)

I might not need a bra for my dress as the bodice is so structured, so may just buy posh new pants - that'll save a few quid!!! :D

Just browsing through wedding mags and pinterest here - ah, bliss!!!

lovecake - I'd love to exchange pinterest details with you but I use my real name on it :o:o

They are all lovely but the first ones are definately my fave.

Mel- with your honeymoon Im sure I read if you book it though a company that is ATOL protected and have booked it as a package (not hotel and flights seperately) that you would get your money back if they went bust, please dont quote me on this but its worth researching.
They are my favourites as well because they are a little bit higher - part of me equates the lower heels with more everyday shoes when I want 'occasion' shoes! And the flower thing will go with the lace shoulders of my bargain (£100!!!!) dress - it's this one, dunno if I showed it on here before? (ignore the earrings and stuff on the pic) But I liked the laciness of the second pair for the same reason, but 2 and 3 the toes are a bit pointier than I'd like. My stupid wide feet mean I need options though!

ARGH! I've made a mistake of looking at rainbow clubs website again and they have new shoes on from when I last looked... now really liking these - and they are even more bloody expensive lol. http://www.rainbowclub.co.uk/collection.htm?brand=Rainbow%20Club&productID=305&Accessories=0&search=1&type=2&size=5&heel=6&price=1

I like those but I think I actually preferred the previous ones you were looking at? How many times have you looked at the suit so far then :D;)

Wanchai, that'll be a baragin not having to buy a bra :rotfl: Thats the beauty of paying the extra on the dress! I have been searching high and low for something low backed, pully inny, and strapless and it's a freakin nightmare!

Well not wanting to hang about I've send the hotel an email. Lol. I've basically put "I've booked our honeymoon with TC, but while we're over there it's my groom's birthday - what can I do to make it special". That way they know it's a double celebration and the implication is there to give me (us) freebies lol. :)

Lots of chat to catch up with. Love all the shoe talk and pictures. I still need to sort mine . . . . i change my mind all the time. I'm like Wanchai and her wedding dresses!! I am still thinking of a Rainbow Club pair as they do half sizes. I would like to try a pair on in the shop and then i can try and get a better price on the internet.

On the honeymoon chat - it is worth emailing the Hotel directly to say its a honeymoon or a birthday celebration. My H2B did this for our engagement holiday to Antigua and we got a room upgrade on arrival, sea front, private balcony and huuuuge 7 foot bed.

I really like these shoes. I had thought of having them dyed but i don't want to distract from my dress or its details so I may see if I can get them dyed the same champagne colour as the dress (problem is i don't have a swatch) or a very light shell pink colour. I just can't decide!! I like the sling back on the above shoe as for summer if i get hot feet i shouldn't swell to much! There's nothing worse for me than unsexy swollen ankles. I do still have the pair of strappies i brought from Debenhams in the summer if all else fails. They are just a been plain i think

You should do what I do and buy multiple sizes and then just send the ones that don't fit back!

Oh and your engagement holiday upgrade sounds brilliant! xx
