Oh they are pretty - I really like the bouquet.
Thanks for sharing these! Lol I'd not even thought about napkins!0 -
Wow what a cake!
(I'm sat googling various weddingy things)0 -
Well Ive just got in from a few hrs out with my mum! We went to The Range and I got some cream pearlescent invitations and envelopes and I also got a little butterfly card cutter so my plan is to get some fushia inserts (well fushia paper that ill cut and make into inserts) and some fushia ribbon to run along the side. So ill being spending the afternoon googling pink paper and ribbon!! Then driving back we found a wedding fayre was on in a local hotel and popped in- im even more undecided about my cake now!!
Natalie- that cake looks amazing- there was a stand with similar cakes at the wedding fayre- the looked so good!!0 -
Guess who got a WEDDING DRESS!:j:j
natalie i showed OH that cake and he liked it. I know we will be having a chocolate cake. OH wants a malteser cake!
Oh the cake stand looks good:D
tfutcher they all look good:)
I need to start looking into sweets as im planning on having sweets on the tables.
I think OH is starting to get more excited as he keeps asking questions when we need to get things etc. He asked about wedding rings today and said he wants a really nice one but then said that he will only wear it at weekends as he cant really wear it at work!0 -
Wow very jealous about you guys getting things sorted!! (Although I have googled everything and have things bookmarked it's not the same as getting your hands on things!) As soon as the car is paid for (or at least saved up for when it finally goes kaput) then I can start spending the odd little bit on the wedding.
Nothing major but I plan on buying the flowers for the bouquet, the balloons, and the card for the invites so I can make sure the burgundy/red is a close enough match.
Have a look here at wedding cakes: there are some really stunning designs. (Almost makes me wish we were having a 'traditional' cake!) http://www.marthastewartweddings.com/photogallery/modern-wedding-cakes
Emma, I'm sure PDA would do a fushia pink card/paper.
:T yaaaaay LauraL!! Photos? (PM?) Nice that your OH is starting to ask questions about the wedding(lol I don't think I give MrD much chance to ask, cause I've normally already told him about it all)

Im just lgoing to look on pda craft- if not ive had a look on hobbycraft and they do some that could be ok. I was hoping I could get a puncher that said 'wedding invitation' so that it would come through and show the pink paper but cant find one!! Need to think how I can put that wording on there now!!
Laura- would love to see some pictures.0 -
Emma, it is possible. A quick google came up with: http://www.scrapbookscrapbook.com/scrapbook-die-cut-machines-info.html I'll carry on looking.

Oh thanks for the links, ive had a look and that 2nd one looks quite good but I would worry that as they would have to be done seperately they may not line up, and it was little bit more than I was hoping to pay, but its good to know that there is an option if I get desperate. Another option is a rubber stamp and pink ink pad. Im just worried that black will look well too black and that silver would look a bit out of place. Oh unless I could find some ribbon with pink and silver in.
TFutcher- have you looked much into the wooden roses, theres a stall sometimes by where I work and they do 8 for £1, could be worth having a look around. Have you seen some of finished bouquets on here- they look great. Definately something I would have consider if my mil2b didnt work where she did!!0
