Are there any local wedding bloggers near to you? They might have some reccomendations. Or browse Yell.com or similar and see if there are any links to people websites.

Have you booked anything else yet? Because when we booked our car, the guy had a list of photographers and various other services that he had worked with and would recommend, maybe one of your guys has something like that?

I would google for you but I'm sure you have already done that :D

She said it would be a good idea to try a 'low GI' diet which I think is similar to a low carb diet, so I'm going to investigate that and see if it's doable.

Actually Low GI is practically the opposite of Low Carb :) It is high in carbs but they are all carbs that are slow releasing energy ones, so like wholegrain foods, brown pasta and rice, etc.
But great news that your doctor is taking you seriously!!

Lol see our parcel/royal mail collection desk is open 7am-12 which is much better for working people!!

Yea - I can't help with the photographer either - but Mel's suggestion of asking other people you've booked is a really good idea!

Oh really haha shows how much I know :rotfl: thats a bit annoying though as nobody else in the house will eat brown versions of pasta and rice - I don't really mind them myself! Would be a bit of a faff having to cook separate though. I'll look into it and tell them all they have to eat my way because it's medical lol.

Yeah she was miles better than the guy I saw before, just gotta see how the tests come out now.

See the one round here is open brilliant hours, 7am till 1pm then 2pm till 6pm, but I got the parcel sent to my mums in case it took a while and we weren't here any more! I foresee my online shopping levels decreasing ALOT when I move there!

Thanks for that. Our venue does have a list of photographers (and other suppliers) but I checked them out and they're too old fashioned/cringy.

I would love these guys but £1,600 eek!!!!!!!

Wanchai - my advice would be to contact any photographers you like the look of and ask them what their best price is for whatever you want. I wouldn't take any price list on a website as gospel. I managed to get my photographer this way for £200 for 3 hrs.
  • I'm starting on the photographers journey as well.... think I have found one (jennyiow used him).

Though don't know where to start when asking for photos, what sort of shots are you girlies asking for?

Save the dates are stamped and have been sent out - have taken piccies, but haven't had five minutes to upload them. Should really do that, and show you all what I've done :)

So so tired, Freshers week is too long, and it's wearing me out - I'm not even going out drinking either! Just mentally exhausted through sorting out all the new students.

That sounds good actually. Although it is a Saturday in summer, so they are not likely to be that flexible on price lol!

We want the full shebang - all day coverage from my house to the first dance, preferably 2 photographers etc etc.

I want a mixture of reportage and posed shots (just the usual - me and OH and the bridal party/family etc). I would like them to be similar in style to the ones in the websites above - apparently they need to use more flash to get the 'ethereal' vintage-y effect. I will be very very specific about what I want, but open to their suggestions too.

Can't wait to see pics of your STD cards!!!! :T

  • arrrggghhhh!!! We booked our hen weekend in magaluf last night. there is 16 of us and u can only do it 8 at a time so we tried to get the same price by doing it on 2 comps at the same time. we double checked the flights hotel etc to make sure it was the same and the prices where exact.. anyway only one went through and the other one we had to call to complete. we had to pay £66 extra so we just said we would pay it! got all the details through and they've put the wrong hotel on one of the bookings! she was so snotty on the phone and said it was our fault.... she has gone to listen to the call and will call back... the thing is they are in the wrong and they can just say we was wrong after listening to the call! is there anyway we can listen to the call too??

im soooo mad!!! ill catch up soon xx
