    I can't imagine not having anything weddingy to do! It seems endless at this stage!!!!!!

  • I think I will wait till ive actually got names and numbers and have done a rough table plan then I will see what works- im thinking i may go with your suggestion Natalie- having sections so people know which direction to head in then they can find their place card.

    I'm laid here feeling really frumpy - haven't got my head into gear at all about dieting.
    Sat watching the last two weeks Dont Tell The Bride (cor I have been so busy I've got a fortnight's worth of TV to catch up on).
    I wonder if on Saturday when I go to the bridal shop to get the length measured I could try my dress on - lol that may just shock me into pulling my finger out diet wise!

    Is anyone else watching the thing about Claire from Step's weight? She is so me!

    I need to get my work life balance back under control and get my eating habits back in touch... and get running (again!) Why is it so hard?!
  • I havent seen the claire from steps program, I have seen her on a previous program and she lost loads of weight.

    I am very impressed with myself, someone had yummy cakes and chocolate biscuits today and I didnt have one, not even one little biscuit- so I proved to myself I do have a little bit of will power!! And I went to the gym after work today and will be dragging oh after work tomorrow. I really struggle to be good, I think you have to be in the right mind set, and I 'think' im currently in that mind set!!

    I am unsure when to try my dress on, do I do it now so I motivate myself (which could backfire cos if it doesnt fit i could comfort eat!!) or do I wait till I lose about another 5 lb and then I will be at the weight I was when I got it and it fitted almost perfectly!!

    I need to watch this weeks dttb!

    Weight really is just such a !!!!!!!!

    I keep trying to tell myself to stop being a silly moo - I'm a size 10 and I should be very happy with that (especially considering I was a 16) but I know my belly is still really bloated and at times I can look pregnant! I want to be able to fit into a size 10 wetsuit. If I can do that in a couple of weeks time I'll be happy. My biggest problem is I guess I still see myself as a size 16 girl.

    It is just over 4 weeks till we go diving - I so cannot wait - cause once we've done that I can book the honeymoon - yaaaaaaaaaaay!!

    Hi everyone!

    Hope you are all OK.

    Nat, I so know how you feel about the healthy eating falling by the wayside because of work. I've not been eating lots, but it's not been particularly healthy. I have just been swimming though so that's a good thing!

    I might have a bit of an [STRIKE]excuse [/STRIKE]solution though. You know how I was complaining about over the summer when I was exercising 6 times a week, eating well, etc and only lost 2lb?
    Well, I went to the doctors earlier about my spots, and I had made an appointment to see the one who is a specialist in women's type problems. She was asking me a load of questions and she thinks I have some kind of hormone imbalance so she's going to test me for PCOS. Apparently I'm showing most of the symptoms. Is it really bad (and vain :o) of me to kind of hope it is that so I at least have a reason for all the problems I've been having!

    She said it would be a good idea to try a 'low GI' diet which I think is similar to a low carb diet, so I'm going to investigate that and see if it's doable.

    The only weddingy think I have done is order some fake flowers and although they have arrived they are currently at the parcel office because they arrived when I was out, and the stupid office is only open from 8am till 1pm weekdays. :/. Who the hell can go at that time of day? Surely if you are available at that time you would have been in to collect your parcel in the first place! :rotfl:

    Was it you Wanchai who ordered some from the same seller? Let me know if they are any good as I am impatient and can't wait till Saturday lol.

    Anyway I've got nothing else really to say now, kinda ran out of steam! xx

    Oh must have been someone else then - I actually cannot be bothered to flick back through the pages and find out :o how incredibly lazy of me lol!

    Haha it's the eating part that I find hard, because I LOVE food - I love flavour and taste and unfortunately it's all the bad stuff that has the taste and flavour! A plain salad with grilled chicken breast, as compared to a juicy steak, with a garlic and cream cheese mushroom sauce, and some home made wedges cooked with paprika and thyme.... absolutely no contest!

    No idea on photographers lol I've ordered some cheap guy out the local paper just to come and take a few snaps! :rotfl:
