    304 days for me :D

LauraR- the cake pop cake looks fab. I have heard thay cake pops are hard to make, but at least that will mean trials which will mean tasty cake to trial!!:D yup cake trials!!! but no good for my diet have have youtubed them and they dont look to bad plus my SMIL is makeing them ;)

Not really done much, I went to a wedding fayre yesterday and was admiring someones table plans, invites etc and the lady asked how my planning was going, so I said oh im really organised, got all the big things booked and smaller things are in the pipeline, but I did need to sort my table plan as its one of the few things left I have no idea what I want it to look like and the snooty woman looke down her nose at me and told me people are booking their table plans 2 years in advance and I really need to sort it out- I thought well a lot of people only have a year or less to plan their whole wedding!

snooty cow surly table plan doesnt take 2years... how many friends do u make or lose in 2yrs!!!

Natalie- I bet you wont sleep much friday, youll be too excited!!

OMG im excited for you too!!!

Melanie, oh that would be fab news about your bouquet, ill be keeping ym fingers crossed for you.

well not much to report really... hmm.... i slipped in the bathroom wacked my head on the tiled wall and got a massive bruise on my leg that hit the bath :(

im fuming about BILs wedding as its sooo expensive its going to cost us £260 just to stay without fuel costs drinks and food costs and its really expensive for drinks! we have to stay 2 nights as OH is best man and apparently NEEDs him the the night before! im dreading it we have our wedding, kids birthdays and my best friends wedding before theirs we cant afford a honey moon and meant to be saving for a deposit on a house!

    rant over :o

i tried on my dress to show my MOH on saturday and its to big :D good job it needs altering anyways :D

Awww that is great news Laura - that not only is your dress too big, your MOH looks fab in hers :)

Weddings are bloomin expensive aren't they - and not just for the couple getting married. I'm hoping to get my brother's wedding in for under £100. But I don't think that'll be achieved!! I already have the dress (£36), and MrD can just wear his wedding suit (£0), so I've got to sort out accommodation for one night (was going to have to be two but my mum has kindly offered to baby sit my brother's children the night before the wedding instead), a gift of some sort, and fuel to get there. (He lives just on the inside of the M25)... Looking at it like that £100 seems a bit ambitious!! (And this will be just after our honeymoon so we'll be skint).

Lol don't get too excited - they haven't actually got my dress. I'm not going to be trying it on. The suppliers just want to know the definite length measurement. (It is a good job I'm not trying it on as I'm about 7lbs heavier than I was when I went to get measured and about 14lbs heavier than I want to be on the day!!)
  • Im glad im not the only one that thought 2 years for a table plan was ! I do need one but ill make it myself. Got some ideas from her stand though, she had some fab vintage kind of stuff, but it was about £75-£85 for a table plan, no wonder people need to book 2 years in advance, they need to save!!!:rotfl:

LauraR, thats annoying that your expected to pay out that much for a wedding. And rant away, thats what we are here for. I would hate to think someone had spent that much for my wedding, especially by the time youve factored in petrol, drinks, food, a gift, outfits etc.

Natalie- its dress related so its still exciting!!

I lost 1.5lb this week, have been a little bit naughty this week, havent eaten anything mega naughty but have eaten a few smaller things I shouldnt have, so Ill have to make sure I push myself at the gym tomorrow and thurs! Didnt go today- had a golf lesson!!:D

Maybe a diagram to show them which end to go to, with place names on the table?

I *think* if I was doing it I'd split the horseshoe up into groups of, say 8 chairs (depending on the number of guests you're having), then say who is in each section. That would give your guests a general direction to head off to, and then when they get to the table they could look for their name.

Or you could write on a outline of the horseshoe exactly where everyone is to sit, but the problem with this (I imagine) would be that people would spend more time looking at where they should sit. This would cause a bottle neck with everyone hanging about trying to see where to sit.

    Hope that makes sense!!

I want something weddingy to do!! Lol I have a less busy night tonight - got my school work done early - and I want something weddingy to do!!
