  • i have been snooping for a few days but not posted not got much to add really!

i have lost 6lb in 2weeks just by calorie counting :D been for a walk today as H2B is out with our oldest so just me and the baby today only walked 1/2mile but better then driving :D

i need to do more weddingy things .... hmmmmm
  • Afternoon!

First time ive sat down today- Ive been busy this morning! Got up and went to the gym, had a good work out, then we went shopping then ive just got in from my first golf lesson!! I actually enjoyed it, didnt get in a strop that I cant do it, and didnt feel like I was completely rubbish!! WIll take quite a few lessons I think but will be nice me and oh will have something we can do together!

Mel- I know what you mean about being toned, thats why Im making sure Im going to the gym 3-4 times a week, I want to be toned and fit more than worrying about being really skinny!! Plus Im measuring myself aswell as looking as the scales as I tend to find I lose inches to start off with rather than a lot in weight, so if I only weighed myself I would feel a bit unmotivated if I didnt lose much!!

I really want something wedding related to do!!

LauraR- well done on the weight lost.

Mel- hope the bra fits. Im the same- I like to be well supported, I have the ultimate wonderbra, plus my dress has a hidden corset built in so I can be well pulled in and supported!!

Lauralou - thanks for adding me!

laurarobby - wow, mega well done on your weight loss!!! I feel inspired! :)

Dress shopping with my mother was great fun - I totally love La Sposa Denia and Dosel. Anyone tried them on yet? I just love dress shopping!!!! Wish I'd started it 2 months ago when we first got engaged lol.

  • I didnt try many dresses on before I got mine. Because I was on a tight budget I was too scared off trying anything on that was too expensive so tried a couple of cheapish dresses on in one shop and then went to a sample sale and found my dress which I loved instantly (which suprised me as it was so plain!!) and it was a bargain. I do kind of wish I had tried more dresses on, especially when I hear how much fun people had trying dresses on.

I think all the dresses you have shown us are stunning, I dont know how you will decide! (my fave was the last one but they are all lovely!)
  • Wanchai - have you shared your wedding dress choices? Did i miss that :(

Well done to us all for our weight losses. I have finally lost that damn 2lbs that i needed to make it a stone loss! phew . . it seems to have been ages in coming (12 wks). Still its gone forever. Now onto the next stone. I too am a 16 (was an 18) and would be happy to be a fit, toned, curvy 14. My H2B met me when i was just 12lb lighter than i am today and he has asked me not to lose the curves as thats what he fell in love with . . . . well who am i to argue with that! Haha.

Nothing weddingy done today as i've spent most of the afternoon on the phone to SKY - no signal, fault with the dish or box but a technician must visit but can't come for 2 weeks!!!! Not happy as i'll miss DTTB and Mount Pleasant.
  • LauraL- hope your feeling better soon, make sure you take it easy and look after yourself.

LauraL- I dont mind keeping the list up to date, what would I do just update it and then post it when new people join, then if you do get on here you can then copy and paste it back to the front page??

Thank you Emma. Yeah just update it then post it when someone new joins then i'll copy the latest list and paste it back onto the front page. Thank you

I find it hard to make decisions at the best of times, how will I ever choose a wedding dress!!!! :o

I think you were wise to do what you did btw!

Well done Laura and Melanie on your weight loss! (that is not beer it's water lol)

Well the bra did arrive but unfortunately they are no good, firstly the cups are see through lace (it looks more 'solid' on the picture but it's actually very sheer) and I really don't like sheer underwear - there's something about being able to see nipples through a bra that freaks me out! I hate nipples haha!
And secondly the back wasn't as low as it appeared on the picture, it was more like a standard bra really. So that'll be going back and the search continues! :D

I ordered some of the foam roses from ebay today in ivory so will see how they go with the dress, then if they are any good I will let my mum make them into a bouquet :p

Just sitting watching x factor on my own as OH is away this weekend, id it really bad of me to love the peace and quiet of being on my own when he's away? :o I don't know how people do it who have kids or loads of people round them. I really need to have time on my own regularly or I get a bit overwhelmed.

Might sit and do a bit of shoogling (my mate made that up - shoe googling - I love it lol) and drool over lovely shoes now!

    See you all later
    xx
Ths signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it... :o
