tfutcher sorry to hear you had an arguement with your sister. Its such a shame that weddings can cause so much problems when it should be the happiest time of your life and you wish to share it with your family/friends. Hope things get better:)

Havnt done any wedding bits today. Went to work this morning for a few hours - sorting things out ready for this term and now looking on rightmove at houses we cant afford!:rotfl:

Tfutcher- its your day, and your the the one that has to wear the dress all day, so go with the one that you like, and feel comfy in, and that makes you feel like a princess.

And sorry guys, ive been rubbish today and havent done my contract! Ive been at work all day then went for a bite to eat so havent been in long and am coming down with a cold so cant be bothered to do it now, i have all weekend so will do it then!

So tonight im looking at wedding bits, trying to get inspiration for making my own invitation and flowers. Think when ive got easter hols im going to have a play around with the invitations

Have you found much inspiration? Do you know what style of invites or flowers you want?

I quite like the idea of scroll invites (mainly as i think they will be the easiest option to make). im just stuck on boxes- i was thinking though that as I would only be doing them for the day time guests (evening guests will probably get ready printed ones from ebat!!) I could get away without putting them in a box and just handing them out when I see people. and just doing them up with a nice pink ribbon and maybe a flower or butterfly.

Invitation was thinking off something along the lines of purple ribbon on the left side then a butterfly or flower on the top right corner or this...(which is a bit like natalie's!)

tfutcher - really sorry to hear about your arguments with your sister. Like you said though - hear their opinions and then together with your OH decide whether to listen to them . Really glad you've narrowed your dress down to two. (Pictures?) I am so jealous of you guys - I keep looking at dresses on the net and dreaming!

LauraL - lol damn that green light giving me away. :rotfl: The 'problem' is I sit with this website up and running in the background, so it'll appear like I'm here when really I'm working.. honest! I did manage to get all my notes prepared - now I just have to get writing. I plan on doing a fair bit today while MrD is working on the house. I'm confident that I'll have it finished for Tuesday. I'm looking forward to seeing your first mock up of your invites!! Easter isn't far away now is it!!

Well the house insurance is done and the wedding photographer contract is printed, just need to fill in the info and sort out the deposit!!

I have now filled out most of the form aswell, just need to look up some postcodes and get my oh to sign it!

Im currently looking into whether I could make a tiara similar to the one Ive fallen in love with thats £35 plus p&P. well ok, maybe not me making it but whether it would be possible to get the bits seperately and then get someone who has some patience and is crafty to make it for me:rotfl:!
