    Oh and just seen we have just spent the first £1k towards our wedding. Aiming to get the wedding for £3k. - think when we started I was after £2.5k Not including money donated towards my dress and MrD's suit, the pre-honeymoon or the honeymoon. :)

    I've been to some lovely handfastening ceremonies. :j
    Are you going to renew it every year and a day?

    Hi, we are going for the 2nd option, as long as both of our love lasts :-)

    Evening everyone

    Hope youve all had a good day.

    Natalie- i am laughing at you and your spreadsheets!! Bet it feels good though to see how much youve saved. Hmm, i wonder how much Ive spent so far, will have to have a tally up tomorrow (my spreadsheet is at work!)

    Im off next week so am hoping to:
    Give notice (definately being done Monday)
    Order my petticoat
    I may order my ring- i am hoping that some more tesco vouchers come soon but I may get bored of waiting!
    Sort the dj

    LauraL- That cottage sounds lovely, ive been to Bideford before and it was very nice, im sure youll have a great time.

    You should get some tesco vouchers soon - I got mine yesterday :)
    Lol I do love a good spreadsheet. Before I went to yoga I merged my 'holidays' to do list with my 'things to do before the wedding' list... it is 113 lines long in my spreadsheet with dates, things to do, and a general things to do list - the only things left for me to do this holiday are:

    Complete my End-of-module assignment for my Masters - hurrah last ever assignment!
    Go to Mac for a consultation (26th Aug)
    Get the pill (I might phone up the docs tomorrow about this - I have a chin full of angry 'spots' at the moment so I'm looking perfect to plead my case).
    Sort out the back garden (will do this when we get back Eurodisney - have I told you all we're off there on Sunday till Wednesday night?)
    Buy a wetsuit, snorkel, mask, fins, boots, gloves
    Buy 2nd hand fridge and freezer
    Collect dessert fork and spoons (doing that tomorrow morning).

    The only other general things that could be done are:
    * Buy alcohol
    * Buy a giant jenga
    But as we're buying all our diving gear I really shouldn't be spending any more lol. (I have got 12 bottles of echo falls in my asda basket though - cause they are currently £4 a bottle!)

    Natalie- i thought you were getting a fridge/ freezer from someone at work (please tell me if im going mad and imagined this conversation!!)

    Oh hopefully they will come very soon then, once i have them I will go to goldsmith, make sure im still in love with the ring, make sure they have plenty in my size and then i can exchange the vouchers and order the ring.

    oh the thread will be quiet sunday- weds then!!

    And now the latest wonder in all things weddingy is do I keep my hair red... do I go back to brown... or do I go brown with red streaks. I *think* I might take a few photos of my hair now - in various styles, then when I go to get it done again in October get it done brown with red streaks, and then when I go again at Christmas go brown. Taking loads of photos in between. I have been a red head for over a year now, don't know if I'm getting bored. And it seems to be so popular at the moment - lol I want to buck the trend!

    Lol you are right - we are - 'buy' isn't the right word is it - we should be going to pick them up in two weekends time when we're back from Eurodisney.

    And I don't know what you mean about the thread being quiet :p you'll be off work!! :rotfl:

    Haha- after telling me to stay red your know having 2nd thoughts! Ive been red about a year aswell and am still not bored with it, i am just worried about the colour coming out loads on honeymoon.

    I did have a thought today- im growing my hair so i have more options for the wedding, but much prefer it shorter (shoulder length with layers cut in) so did wonder if I could leave my oh on the sunday after the wedding while grand prix is on and pop round the corner to my hairdressers house and have it all cut off!! would be much easier to deal with on honeymoon!! Then again i may not even need it long so could have it cut to the perfect length before the wedding- i just have no idea whatsoever how i want it!!

    Oh I see, when you said buy i thought that one must have fallen through and you were going to try and find a 2nd hand one to buy!
