Wooah I can ramble can't I haha!
xx
I *think* I've read on here that bespoke dresses don't have to be as much as you'd think. Why not find a post by Lindaatno9 (or whatever her name is) and ask her for her opinion? (And I really like the dress of Johanna Hehir with the 'bat wings'). Which is your fave dress of hers? We could see if we could find a cheaper alternative.
Right Mark is back with the truck so I'm off to go load up.
Have a lovely weekend everyone!0 -
PS There is no way you will end up wearing something you hate!
we have a whole year to help you find your perfect dress. I absolutely believe there is something out there for everyone!!

Trucks all loaded - just waiting on MrD to get a quick shower and then we'll be off.
Sorry I didn't answer your question Mel, yea I did get the flowers off ebay lol back in March!!Got them in white and ivory because I wanted to play around with my bouquet - but now I've got my dress it's the white ones that I'll use. So I put the ivory ones back on ebay.

Mel - I've just had a look on monsoon - a lot of their dresses are silk rather than satin. They also have a really pretty long sleeved bolero (lol which I nearly just called a solero lol).
(Well I think it's lovely anyway).

Hello everyone.
LauraL- what balloons are you having?
Mel- those expensive dresses are gorgeous- there does seem to be a shortage of dresses with sleeves- they are around, its just a case of shopping about a bit.
LauraR- that morilee dress is gorgeous, i cant remember who originally posted it.
Roll on the 8th when we give notice!!0 -
Good morning fellow July 2012 brides - well that is another month down. Scarily, it feels like only yesterday that we were jumping for joy that it was July 2011!! Now we're on August!! :T:T:T:T
Eeeeek today's the day we give notice!! I'm also popping into town to get my 'non-engagement' ring and wedding ring sized. While I'm there I'm going to get my dessert spoon and fork engraved. (Oh and a set of keys cut lol but that isn't weddingy or exciting!)
LauraL - great news about sorting your balloons out!!Isn't it great when you can cross things off your list!
LauraR - I was going to say sending emails/telephoning the stockists to see if they have that dress in. Alternatively you could always search ebay/preloved but then you'd have to commit to buy it before trying it on (unless the listing is nearby). It is a stunning dress!! Like Mel, I do love the non-satin dresses!
*edit*
Not sure what size you are LauraR - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Wedding-Dress-Mori-Lee-4816-/160629276104?pt=UK_Wedding_Clothing&hash=item2566403dc8#ht_500wt_949
Right am off on a passport hunt - I've found mine but can't find MrDs.0 -
Well I have taken my 'non-engagement' ring into two independent local jewellers and they have told me my ring is not a k... but is infact a k.5!! Stupid HSamuels telling me it's a K! (Am in two minds whether to write them a snotty email asking for a refund of the cost to return the ring back to the weddingringspecialist). But thankfully the guy (Steve) at weddingringspecialist is super helpful and I'm just about to go take my ring to the post office to get sent back to him.
He was impressed (happy?) that our wedding isn't until next July - he said it's surprising the number of people who buy wedding rings online the week before their weddings and then panic when things like this happen.
And I've taken my spoon and fork to get engraved - go to pick them up on Wednesday - cannot wait!!(No idea how much that will be - didn't ask - lol don't care - lol it can be my one extravagance - lol not including my dress).
Oh and I got two front door keys cutDone one load of washing - that's out on the line, and got another one literally finished in the washing machine as I typed this sentence. A woman's work is never done! Have had a fruitful morning so far!

It was me who originally posted it - thankfully I've now found another dress I like more! Lol! It is beautiful on, I've found 2 places that stock it, 1 in Berwick and the other in Hamilton (where it's cheaper!) don't know where you live though?0
